About this house rental
Located in Maggie Valley, this attractive house for $235 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. Come enjoy our Mountain Chalet located in Maggie Valley, North Carolina. The large 2,850 Sf home is set on 1.4 acres with easy paved access off the main road. The centerpiece 2 story high, stacked-stone floor to ceiling gas fireplace is surrounded by windows and skylights to bring the outdoors in. Tongue & groove wood ceiling adds a homey warmth to the open floor plan. The living room includes a 65” UHD TV, Blu-Ray DVD player, streaming cable tv, and Wi-Fi. The Master Suite has a TV, electric fireplace, walk-in closet and a King sized bed. The large Master Bath is one of a kind with a large walk-in shower. The Guest bedroom has a queen bed, and the full guest bath includes a whirlpool tub as well as a shower. The Loft bedroom has bunk beds and a twin size pullout, under the full size lower bunk makes room for 3-4 people. It has its own bath with walk-in shower. There is an office/business area situated near the back for privacy in case you have some unfinished business to tend to. Downstairs there is a full size futon and game room with pool table, books, and board & card games provided making great fun for families of all ages and sizes. Easily sleeps 8. Clothes washer and Dryer provided as well. With the wrap-around deck, it’s the perfect home to enjoy mountain living. You also have a garage in case you’d like your vehicle parked under cover. This is a NO SMOKING house and allergy free because no dogs s or cats are allowed. Convenient to all that Maggie Valley and the surrounding areas offer for “resort style” living. Maggie Valley has a wide variety of hiking trails and waterfalls to visit. You’ll be within 30 minutes of downtown Asheville, art galleries, The Biltmore Estate, and Harrah’s Casino in Cherokee. Gatlinburg /Pigeon Forge (Dollywood) is a beautiful hours drive through the Great Smokey Mountains. Elk gazing and horseback riding are close by as well. This Chalet is perfect for a mountain get away especially if you want to enjoy longer extended stay. Stays longer than 7 days will receive a preferred discounted rate. We had three families stay in this charming house in Maggie Valley for the Thanksgiving holiday. It was a wonderful experience from the start. Hunter was terrific to work with, he really cares about your experience. He even got my parents a drip coffee maker which they were thrilled with. We couldn't get over how clean the house was, it felt like a home away from home. It was a great home base for our daily adventures and perfect for cooking a Thanksgiving meal for 6 adults. We were thrilled that everyone had their own space and we thoroughly enjoyed the pool table in the basement. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. We will definitely be back again.

This property is beautiful and very roomie. You are first welcomed by the property manager, fully animated Hunter. Hunter welcomed us with a smile, walked the property with us and showed us where everything was and the do's and dont's of the property. Hunter also gave us some local advice to where we could eat or just go for some drinks. Hunter also had some beautiful fresh flowers ready for our stay. The chalet is equipment with practically everything you can imagine or need, so it's basically, bring yourself, buy some groceries and start your vacation.
The house is located close to everything, Waynesville, Maggie ville, Blue Ridge mountain, Cherokee, downtown, etc.
We had time to grill, sit outback, enjoy nature, play pool, read, walk around the neighborhood, etc.
We can say that all in all we made the right decision to stay at the Julian Ln mountain Chalet and look forward to being able to return soon.

The cabin was wonderful, clean, spacious and well equipped with supplies. We did not want to leave to go home. Hunter was wonderful, he met us at the cabin to show us all the end and out of the cabin. Hunter also gave us some great restaurants to try also. Look forward to staying again!!

This is probably our favorite VRBO experience thus far. The cabin is wonderful. Clean, fully equipped, spacious with many sleeping options and a pool table room to escape to after putting the kids to bed! The location to Waynesville, Franklin and other wonderful towns to visit were easy to get to. We also loved the fire pit area. Spent tons of family time enjoying the evenings outdoors telling stories by the fire. The property manager was great as well. Met us at check in and was available if we needed anything during our stay. We will definitely stay here again if we have the opportunity in the future. Thank you.

As advertised and Hunter was waiting for us upon arrival. He gave us a thorough overview of the property, went above and beyond in providing additional products for our stay. We chose the location because of its driving access to Asheville to the East, and Gatlinburg and the Great Smokey Mountain National Park to the West. The location was perfect for us.

Communication was excellent. Hunter met at us at the cabin and gave us a tour of the property along with some suggestions of activities. We really enjoyed our stay, the cabin was spacious, the kitchen had everything you could possibly need, there were even some pantry items that certainly came in handy. Thank you again Hunter!!

This property was even better than pictured. The kitchen was extremely well stocked and there were plenty of extra blankets, pillows and towels. All beds were very comfortable. It was a pleasure working with the property manager, Hunter. He helped us get into the Christmas spirit by providing a beautiful Christmas tree and a box of gorgeous decorations. Home was very clean ,well built with excellent heating and had all the amenities one could ask for. Keurig and regular coffee maker, toaster, dishwasher, refrigerator with icemaker and oven. The shower in our bedroom was incredible, large walk in with several different heads with overhead heater.
Our bed was very comfortable and there were plenty of extra blankets and sheets.
Overall best furnished house we have stayed in. Just an excellent vacation. We all enjoyed it.
Son and son in law enjoyed pool table many nights.
Property very easy to get to and well maintained with easy access to Surrounding area.
Property manager Hunter was a pleasure to work with. Easy to contact and answered any questions. Very nice gentleman and quick to respond.

This mountain house is exactly as shown in the description. The surrounding grounds including a gazebo and a wraparound porch are enjoyable. There are extra touches in the kitchen (plastic wrap, foil, wax paper, plastic bags) and the bathrooms which are appreciated. The house is immaculate and noticably free of allergens!

Only negative thing I might mention is that the cleaning fee is a bit high compared to other properties ($235, we actually almost didn't rent because of this) and when we arrived we were asked to please be out by 10 and also strip the beds and start a load of towels and sheets - even though that was said to be included as a part of the cleaning. Just felt a little odd to pay such a high cleaning fee and be asked to do this.
Other than that, it was a pleasant stay.

Great location and proximity to catalochee ski area
Had enough bathrooms and beds for the group. Had two smaller kids during the stay and the trundle bed lower bunk were great the upper bunk I would leave for older kids
