Girls trip to Idle Hours #4! I can’t say enough great things about our stay. It was perfect! We actually feel like we are “at home on vacation” here. The property is expertly clean and beautiful! The layout of the house provides space for everyone to have both their own quiet time and to come together as a group. Everything one could possibly need is provided. There is even a perfectly fenced in yard for our pooch! We had such a good time we didn’t want to leave. We will be returning soon! Lots of love for the Hunt family for sharing their piece of paradise with us.

We had family and adopted family staying together at this lovely home. It had everything we needed and then some. Plenty of space to gather in multiple areas for different interests. Coffee on the screened in porch or dock was a perfect respite. No doubt that you will enjoy this home any time of the year.

This is a great rental! We had a wonderful time spreading out in the comfy bedrooms and bunk rooms and the two living areas. We had our coffee and cocktails on the beautiful screened porch — it was even fun when it rained since we had cover and a beautiful view. This house is a great location on the lake! A nice small cove but looking out onto big water. The swimming was so fun (we even floated off the dock in the warm lake water in the rain). Plenty of seating for everyone, comfy couches, and a great dock area. The kitchen is well-stocked and the house is nice and clean. The hosts were great at communicating. We have stayed at a number of properties on Lake Oconee and this is one of our favorites. We can’t wait to return!

Great lake stay
We had a wonderful family vacation at Tim and kristies lake house! The home was in a fantastic location tucked away in a quiet cove with its own little beach making lake swimming very easy. The dock was spacious for swimming, fishing, and docking our boat. The kitchen was well stocked for all your cooking needs. Our favorite spot was the screened in porch full of comfy rockers to enjoy the scenery.Thank you for sharing your beautiful lake home with us!

What a great yard, one of the best we have ever stayed at. Ease of getting in the water with kayaks or a canoe made it wonderful. Love when we can bring our 4 legged friends as well.

We didn’t bring a boat but my son-in-law’s parents live nearby and we were able to enjoy several lovely boat rides. The little ones enjoyed playing in the mini beach on the property. (But be on the lookout for tiny leeches in the water. Apparently this lake has them, so you wash off feet promptly and thoroughly!). But obviously it didn’t ruin a good time and I would like to return if we gather at the lake again.

Relaxing lake house retreat
We had a great stay even though it rained and was quite cold! The house had everything we could need. We enjoyed the fireplace. The house was great for our dogs because of the fenced backyard. We would love to come back when it is warmer!

Excellent Spot for a Reunion
We assembled a group of 11 Marines who haven't seen each other for 35 years. This was the ideal location as it was off the beaten path, very clean, and enough room for everyone. I had people to fly in from around the country for this reunion and the response was stellar from everyone.

Loved this property! The view is spectacular and the outdoor space was perfect. Love the beach that makes accessing the lake very easy. The house is large and has all the space you could possibly need. The kitchen also is very well equipped if you plan to cook. Everything was super clean. Outstanding dock area and the ground level floor is an awesome family room. We had a little issue with the oven not being cleaned (have video if you want it) but the rest of the stay was great. We didn't know that your boat/jet-ski was being stored under your car-port and that construction was being conducted next door. That would have been nice to know. Very comfortable home.
