Our family agrees this is the best condo we have stayed in during ski vacations! The spirit of the season through Vail was incredible! Rick was incredible to communicate with throughout the booking and while on-site. We stayed for 10 nights and it felt like a second home to us! Very well stocked bathrooms and kitchen. I did a lot of cooking and the kitchen had everything I needed for baking and cooking dishes and utensils. The king size bed and Murphy bed were both super comfy! What made it just perfect was having inclusive valet for your skis and less than a 2-minute walk to get onto the Eagle Bahn Gondola! We loved it so much that we wanted to book our upcoming January trip and next Christmas; however, I think the secret is out as this condo was already booked! We will be back when the calendars line up again! Thank you Rick!

The unit was everything as advertised in a fantastic location to explore Vail and the surrounding areas. Kids really enjoyed the outdoor heated pool that was still very comfortable to use during our weekend there in mid-October. Would definitely stay again.

This property was the perfect size for my cousin and I to spend 6 days in Vail. Loved the kitchen and extra eating area at the bar. The bathrooms were spacious enough and had everything we needed. Loved the living area ❤️ It’s almost as if the furniture was designed perfectly for the space. Lots of room and super cozy. Adorable deck with outdoor seating that looks out the balcony and towards the hills of Aspen’s changing colors! Appropriate space for the grill that was supplied if wanting to BBQ. We were so grateful for the parking structure and elevator. Also the gym area/hot tub were conveniently located within short walking distance from our room. We did not get the chance to check out the laundry facility but it was nice knowing we had those amenities available for use as well. This was a great find on Vrbo and glad that we got to experience it!

This is easily one of the best properties at which we have ever stayed. Clean, cozy, convenient, and comfortable. The owners are very easy to communicate with and beyond helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and have already booked for next Fall! We highly recommend this beautiful place.

We love staying here! The views are beautiful, the location can’t be beat and the accommodations are perfect. Everything is close and the complimentary shuttle came in handy a couple of times this year when the energy level just wasn’t there. Plus, we really enjoy working with Rick! Can’t wait for our next Vail vacation.

This condo couldn’t have been better for our end of summer family stay in Vail. My wife and I stayed on the Murphy bed (one of the most comfortable beds I’ve slept in at a rental), my in-laws were in the main bedroom, and our 9 month old slept in a crib we rented next to our bed. Plenty of room for the 5 of us. Having the two bathrooms was a HUGE plus - both of which are very nice - roomy with incredible water pressure. The views on the balcony are fantastic, and the location of the unit really is unbeatable for Lion’s Head. The decor and furniture is updated and very clean. I would recommend 10/10.

We spent a week in Vail enjoying the cool mornings and warm afternoons. The unit was spectacular and exactly as described in the listing. Of special note was the amazing patio where we spent our mornings enjoying coffee, our afternoons reading and our evenings relaxing and reviewing the day's activities. We used the BBQ on multiple occasions which was a real treat and a nice change from restaurant food. Also wonderful was the proximity to everything Vail. Nothing you would want to do was ever more than a 20-minute walk and most were under 5 minutes. Lastly, the area was extremely quiet in the evening and the bedroom essentially blacked out which made sleeping easy! Of course, the comfortable king bed helped a lot too! Hope to be back for another summertime visit!

We visited Lionshead a week ago and had the best time. This property is beautiful, stocked with all you need for a relaxing, fun, family or adult trip to Vail.
The condo was spotless, extremely well kept; we have no complaints at all. Lionshead is a great location if you want a relaxing, lower key, less crowded village, which we enjoyed immensely. If you prefer more crowds Vail Village is a better place for you. You can visit and never leave the village if you choose.
It was important for us to have a family vacation before our son started kindergarten and this couldn’t have been more perfect. There is something for everyone, shopping, restaurants, hikes, bike trails, and plenty activities and parks to keep your little ones busy. Epic adventure at the top of the mountain was also super fun; everything is within walking distance. Do get ready to spend some money, but well worth the funds. Rick was awesome to work with and checked in multiple times throughout our stay.
The weather was 30 out of 10. :)

We are used to Vail Village but couldn’t reserve where we normally stay on our new July dates so we tried Lions Square. Property couldn’t be more convenient to everything in that area. The property description and pictures are all very accurate. We missed the detail about the fan the first night but that was our fault as it was in the laminated FYIs in the unit. We really enjoyed our stay. Great communication by the host when we reached out. Would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend.

The location was perfect! Easy access to bus, shops and restaurants. Our teens were comfortable on the Murphy bed and pull out sofa and we loved the pool for relaxing after morning hikes! Loved it!

We had a great time at this central Vail apartment! Getting to the Gondola was so easy and the ski valet was super convenient. We also loved that the property had a car service that would take us to Vail Village if we didn’t feel like walking. The Murphy bed is very comfortable, it’s an actual mattress and not like a fold up couch. We would definitely return!

Also, it’s 30 seconds from shopping, groceries, restaurants, etc. We would absolutely stay here again! We cooked breakfast and lunch in the condo each day. Rick and Sharon do a great job of providing tons of information about their unit, the Village, places to eat, etc. prior to your arrival and even have a notebook filled with the same info in the unit. They are very responsive to questions and such - reach out and they will share an idea or answer! We recommend the Epic Mountain Shuttle from Denver airport - if you have an Epic pass you save 20%. They bring you from the airport right to the Lions Square Lobby. Great location - see the ski mountain while sitting at the dining room table (or out on the deck), easily walk to the main lobby, gondola for Vail mountain, the ski storage is located super close to the gondola, Lionshead Village has an ice-skating rink, restaurants, shops, and is on the “in town” bus line that runs (super convenient) every 10minutes back and forth to Vail Village and Lionshead Village with multiple stops along the route (easy to get on/off). It stops right at the entrance to Lionshead Village (big archway sign). The condo is just perfectly appointed = spacious, good sized dining room table, very comfy furniture to sit on and read or watch TV. Lovely gas fireplace, easy to use. Lots of hooks at entryway to hang all your coats and such. Lots of games to play/use (we didn’t use any but there are plenty)! There is a queen Murphy bed - we didn’t use this as we did not have any company with us (great if you have family or good friends visiting with you), and there is a closet for the Murphy bed users. There is a bathroom next to the closet. Kitchen has everything you need to cook meals, or enjoy a quick lunch in between your ski day. Two coffee makers (regular and Keurig). Coffee maker uses cone shaped filters - there were some available but just in case you might want to bring some along. There is a dishwasher and garbage disposal. Two bathrooms is a plus (one can be dedicated for the Murphy bed users) - both stocked with towels, hair dryer, and soap, shampoo/conditioner (you will need to bring some hand / body lotion). Bed is very comfortable with nice oversized pillows, as well. Plenty of closet and drawer space for your belongings. There are laundry baskets to use - laundry room is located on the first floor and takes coins, credit card or “tap to pay” from your phone (easy!). They also provide laundry detergent (no dryer sheets so bring those along).
There is a shuttle service provided by Lions Square Lodge — we used this service several times. More to share, no space left!

This was our second year renting this apartment. Very clean, spacious, well appointed apartment. Location is wonderful to go skiing, ski-in-ski-out. Family of four, kids love they each get a queen bed, one in Murphy bed, one in sofa bed, adults in room with king bed. Plenty of room in closets and drawers. Everything is in great shape, and we’ll taken care of. Check in process is very easy. Can’t wait to go back next year!!

The condo left no stone unturned, updated property including high end mountain decor, well equipped kitchen, wonderful view from balcony/patio with a convenient location to everything. Parking underneath the building was provided which was a plus if you have a car. All communications with the owners, whether before we arrived or during our stay, were carried out by them in a timely manner which was appreciated. The packet of information they provided pre-trip was extensively detailed. They made every effort to ensure our stay was a positive experience. We left yesterday after a week, enjoying the time spent and memories made while in Lion Square Lodge 286.

We really enjoyed our stay. The place is just like how it is listed. The living room with the Murphy bed and pullout couch made a great place for our sons to sleep. There is ample seating in the living area and a fully stocked everything in the kitchen! The balcony is a really pretty spot to hang out. The location just can’t be beat and also the beautiful pool/hour tubs near the river (that you get to use) behind the other building in this complex are really special. What a great spot for a vacation!
