Overall, sadly, I do not recommend staying in this unit because of our experience (I’ve already spoken to the owner on t

1.) The view from the balcony is beautiful. 2.) The furniture is nice. 3.) Air conditioner was good and powerful. 4.) The owner gave precautions and instructions before the stay.

1.) Wi-Fi is extremely slow and practically unusable along with the cable TV due to poor signal. Not recommended for working individuals or if you plan on streaming anything (or basically using the net for anything.) 2.) The room and its appliances need maintenance. 3.) Lack of hot water in the shower - According to the owner, it is dependent on the water pressure. 4.) The ad said it was a 1BR with a bedroom and living room - when in fact it was a STUDIO UNIT. Please correct this because it will misinform others that these rooms are separate. Also there is no sauna - please also update this. 5.) The owner did not clarify with us on the actual fees Pico De Loro had for non-members and only told us to pay a certain amount which was ₱200+ higher than normal for each guest. The ₱200+ additional fee apparently serves as an endorsement fee. I recommend that future guests call Pico De Loro to know their actual rates to avoid the additional cost (They also offer senior citizen discount). Based on our experience, I recommend paying upon arrival instead.

Great host and clean room!

The host was very helpful to answer all questions. The original room we booked was not available because the air-conditioning broke but she immediately informed us before our check-in date and she even sent pictures of the replacement room. The room was beautiful and all appliances seemed brand new!

Some usual complimentary things in airbnbs or hotels were not available like room slippers, toothpaste, shampoo, cooking oil, etc. It was still okay since we prepared everything that we'll need beforehand.

Very relaxing stay in this unit and will definitely book this again when we come back to Pico.

The pictures you see posted are what there are. No edit, no filter done. I felt like we're in a hotel room. Upon entering the room for the first time, me and my wife felt that we've made the right choice of booking this unit. It was clean, simple spacious with a nice and comfortable vibe to it. No need to bring other things for cooking, just bring your ingredients and the kitchen covers all you need (except for the microwave). Me and my wife most of spent most of our time at the balcony to relax, which the unit gives a lagoon and comfortable seats. The bathroom is very nice, still like a hotel vibe, and very clean. The beds are nice and very comfy. Location is good, 1 building away from the hotel and the pool area and two to three buildings away (not 100% sure) away from the beach. The hosts are very friendly and we did not encounter any problems with them during our stay.

Just three points (for me): 1. Wifi - intermittent fair to good. Maybe because many other guests are within the vicinity. 2. TV (entertainment) - if you would stay in the room and watch the television, it has poor signal connection with the cable provider. I suggest bring plug-ins to play what you want to watch (if you will stay in the room most of the time). 3. Microwave - not really a problem (located above the refrigerator but lacking outlet) but it may help I think if you want to reheat your food easily instead of reheating in the electric stove.
