Super breakfast, friendly staff, comfy stay

The breakfast was top class, staff were friendly and room was nicely decorated and clean.

The room was a little too hot and window wouldn't stay open. No problem for us but there are a few stairs in case you have mobility problems.

Perfect place to stay

The bedroom is comfy and super clean.

Bathroom could benefit from renovation for the shower buy everything worked perfectly

We enjoyed it very much

The food was excellent and the singers in the bar that evening were amazing

We didn’t like the fact there was no guest car parking it was hard to get parking when we arrived.

Excellent hotel in a lovey location, with nice walks nearby.

We had a large room on the third floor which also had a seating area and a great view of the bridge and river. The food was excellent and there was a lovely view in the lounge and the breakfast was excellent.

Cleanliness of bedroom

This place needed a more hands on and attentive restaurant manager! Service was a bit lax. Also no one on reception at check out. The renowned Irish hospitality was completely missing. Good enough to stay in if you were passing through for one night but not otherwise.

Fab stay in a fab place

The room was spacious clean and comfy the location was on the river. Staff were great! Food was lovely ! Breakfast with a view of the river .. loved it can’t recommend enough !

Amazing location, followed by really friendly staff with a great atmosphere, 5/5 rating from us.

Breakfast was inclusive and was a real treat. Staff and food was great and added value to our stay.

We needed a sign to say that we are still in the room for the cleaners to be aware.

Great hotel and fantastic location.

Our room was fantastic with a nice sitting area. The breakfast was great and it was in the lounge overlooking the river. The bed was comfortable. It is a nice town to walk around and short walk to the cliffs.

There was a band playing in the bar below until late for two of the three nights we were there. Dinner in the restaurant was disappointing.

We did a 180 on this place. First impressions do not tell the story of the Bridge Tavern.

The Bridge Tavern appears a little tired when you first walk in, but we soon found out, first of impressions are not always reliable. The Bridge is “ where it’s at” in Wicklow. The great food and location make it very busy with locals as well as tourists. It’s old and authentic which adds to its charm. The staff was amazing and so eager to take care of us.

It’s old so it has its quirks- you just have to learn to embrace the quirks.
