From the moment Sarie opened the front door to greet us we knew this was a very special guest house. The place is just insanely perfect! No detail has been overlooked and the generosity of hospitality completely spoiled us . The breakfasts were of an exceptional high quality, the best we had had in our South African adventure. What has been created here is simply the best guesthouse model . There is no doubt that the premises are perfect, the location perfect and all of this is simply enhanced by Sarie, Lyl and all the team. I truly felt valued as a guest and left as a friend. I couldn’t recommend Escape to the beach highly enough.and it has spoiled us. If it’s not as good as Escape to the beach then it is not good enough! Thank you so much for everything!

Having to leave.

We had a wonderful stay in this fantastic accommodation: you are warmly welcomed from the very beginning and the furnishings are beautiful. The view of the sea and the service are amazing. The breakfast is also prepared with a lot of love, small snacks on the afternoon and you can always ask the manager if you have any questions. This place is really special and we were grateful for our time here.

Unglaublich tolle Unterkunft! Sauberkeit, Zimmer, Einrichtung, Frühstück und Lage sind einfach nur perfekt. Das Sahnehäubchen ist aber das sehr zuvorkommende und professionelle Personal, allen voran Sarie! Sie macht einen sehr sehr sehr guten Job, ist so herzlich und kommunikativ und eine ganz tolle Frau, die wirklich Ahnung von diesem harten Business hat!

Escape to the beach is a fabulous, modern guesthouse on the Garden Route in Wilderness right on the beach. The moment we arrived we were welcomed by Sarie and Lyl and it soon became apparent that nothing was too much trouble at ETTB. The place is kept spotlessly clean. This is by far the best place we have stayed on our South African adventure and we rate it 10/10. We would like to thank Nina, the owner who went out of her way to make sure all the guests were happy. Her attentive and generous nature really made us feel welcome and we can’t wait to return for longer next time. Thanks Nina and don’t change a thing, you’ve nailed it. ps the cakes were amazing.

Amazing location. The manager Saire went over and above to make us feel at home, even went to the shops to buy “brown sauce” for one of our friends. The house is immaculate and oozes luxury and is right on a fabulous beach. Saire has the Team at Escape to the Beach totally in tune with excellent service and again nothing is too much trouble.

Everything was amazing.
