Flott hotell med god frokost og beliggenhet

Et nytt og flott hotell. Rommet var normalt stort og badet var av god størrelse. Frokosten hadde et bra utvalg av pålegg etc og så kunne man bestille noen varme retter i tillegg (uten kostand). Vi synes det er bedre enn at varmmaten er i buffeten siden maten blir ferskere og bedre (og antagelig mindre matsvinn). Det beste med hotellet er den gode beliggenheten til skiløypene. Et stort nettverk av langrennsløyper rett utenfor døren på hotellet. Vi spiste en middag her og den var meget god og en god vinkelner fant bra drikke til maten.

Ved ankomst registrerer man bilen i en selvbetjeningsløsning for å slippe å betale parkeringsavgift. Vi fikk da beskjed fra systemet om at vi da hadde gratis parkering en uke. Vi var der i 3 netter og den siste kvelden kjørte vi et annet sted på Hafjell for å spise. Da vi kom tilbake registrerte vi ikke bilen en gang til siden vi hadde fått beskjed om at parkeringen var gyldig en uke. Likevel har systemet registrert en utkjøring og en ny innkjøring og siden vi ikke registrerte bilen på nytt så fikk vi i etterkant en faktura for parkering det siste døgnet. Vi har sendt inn en klage, men ennå ikke fått svar på hvorfor ikke systemet "husket" at vi hadde registrert bilen tidligere. Så hvis dere kjører til Pellestova og trenger å kjøre ut/inn i løpet av oppholdet, så husk å registrere bilen ved hver ankomst.

Very good

Amazing location and great restaurant. Beautiful settings and surroundings with great cross-country ski tracks just outside the door.

The single rooms did not have any cupboards and were not as nice as the double rooms.

Superb

Amazing food, beautiful views, wonderful ambience, fabulous artwork. Friendly and helpful staff.

The carpet in the bedroom was dirty and stained. The skirting board was also broken and sticking out.

great facilities for dogs and delicious dinner food at the restaurant

the double rooms are quite worn out, both the furniture and the walls would need some refurbishing. also there could be more variety when it comes to food for breakfast. there is a lot of musli and dried fruit but not much vegetables

Superb

We were late for dinner yet they took our order via messages and it was excellent fresh warm food waiting for us as soon as we arrived and took our seats! :) The hostess helped us with some useful tips and the bar men helped me out of his good heart to put the EV on charge despite the freezing snowy conditions. Would love to go back!

They charged me for parking through the car rental agency. It's very strange for me that I need to pay for parking at a hotel with so much space and in such a sneaky way.

Superb

Private sauna cabin in the bathroom (even in the summer it is cold outside)! Very good breakfast, awesome view and bunch of hiking trails around. Coffee machine in the lobby.

Amazing summer stay.

Fabulous breakfast, one of the best breakfast we've ever had in a hotel (muesli, norvegian bread, fruits..). Beautiful view from the hotel. Large room very well equipped. Possibility to take a shower after checking out if you go for a hike. Strongly recommend this hotel for summer or winter activities.

Very nice people. Easy check-in. Good restaurant in the hotel. Awesome view.

Room itself. Old. Small. No furniture to store stuff inside. But like I was told, it will be renovated.

You can sleep and eat, but don’t expect friendly staff.

Free parking, close to Hunderfossen, breakfast quite allright. Seperate space for the children to sleep. Diner was ok.

Extremely hot room and no airconditioning. Unable to turn off the heat in the bathroom. Bedding suited for winter. Room was above the kitchen and had noise and smell coming in. Staff didn’t seem to care, no hosts welcoming you or guideing you in the restaurant. And asking for a tip upon checkout. You have to pay extra for scrambled eggs and bacon at breakfast.

Quaint hotel in a jawdropping location

The hotel is located in a fantastic area, away from the crowds and surrounded by stunning nature! The building itself is quaint, creating this both cozy, rustic, and sleek vibes. Rooms are comfy, with great views over the mountains; gym room is functionnal, and common spaces (bar and restaurant) are tastefully designed. Oh, and the staff is awesome!

Bathroom might need a fresh up to match the rest of the facilities, and a slightly bigger gym room would have been nice.

One of the best winter vacation stays I have ever had.

astonishing location for cross-country skiing. amazing staff and fabulous view from bar. fantastic restaurant and onsite pizza place.

It’s a little isolated — half an hour from Lillehammer up a winding road—but I loved that.

Perfect option for a solo ski trip.

Fabulous, rather remote location at the top of the mountain right on the excellent ski trail system. Great view from the bar, perfect for after skiing. Excellent restaurant with good vegetarian and pescatarian options.

It’s a long way up a winding road in winter. some might find it too isolated, but it was great for me.
