Por estar frente a la playa el personal muy atento sobretodo el personal del restaurante

La piscina muy sucia, el agua estaba turbia. El precio muy Caro para un hotel tan feo y desordenado

Great place if all you want to do is surf and be alone. Otherwise, pick something closer to town.

The breakfast was great, as was all the food we ordered from the restaurant. Room was very clean, bed was comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Could keep the room as cool as you liked. Mini fridge was great!

Pictures can be deceiving. Lots of deferred maintenance. Would have been nice to have pool towels, not the old stained ones from the rooms. Lounge chairs not comfortable, could use cushions or different type.

it was close to the beach

It has zero privacy, everything and everyone is too close, all of the common areas are way too small. The rooms are old and not properly maintained. It is definitely not for the kind of people who don't like crowds and loud people. The breakfast was not good at all. Don't you even dare dream about any gluten free or dairy free options. They have a shower outside, on the street almost. Which is used by everyone who visits the beach and it means you have to wait in the line to wash your sandy feet, when people from the street (not hotel guests) are using the shower also to take a complete shower with shampoo and everything and they are not even ashamed. A very Costa Rican experience in the worst possible way. The beach has no restaurants or anything to visit.

1. we asked for drinks 45 minutes later they forgot our order because they were flirting with a guest. 2. The pool was disgusting and even foam coming out of the filters, clearley they haven’t cleaned it up in a long time. 3. The water in the shower and the sink was coming out BLACK. 4. We made a complaint and the customer services horrible and they seemed angry for us complaining when WE PAID for a service. We left the hotel

In general, all staff was friendly, respectful and super willing to help. I would recommend to have small coffee makers in rooms. All food was super tasty, Great cooking. My wife and I worked in tourism bussiness for over 10 years in Costa Rica and know how to detect diferent levels of service and quality in hotels.

The parking area is the weak spot, I found a car with an open window in the parking outside the property and there was no security guard in place watching over the vehicles. I ended up reporting the issue at the front desk. Need to improve the internet connection in rooms. My room phone never worked. It was reported, but, TV and phone worked from fiber optic, so to make the TV Work they had to disconnect the phone. Bar is kind of pricy.

Budget Accommodation @ Hotel Tramonto

Love the location and the breakfast was exceptional for local cuisine. Perfect for surfing at the top surf beach in CR!

Rooms could have a suitcase rack. Very minimal accommodations and the beds could be queen instead of just doubles. Beds were old and could use updating as a couple will roll into the middle.

Great location by the beach

This hotel is located across the street from the beach. In less than a minute, you are on the beach enjoying the spectacular waves and awesome sunsets. The rooms are very large and well maintained. Housekeeping did a great job of keeping everything clean. The WiFi was very easy to connect to and had decent connection speed.

The American breakfast was not the greatest. The "orange juice" tasted like Tang or a dry mix with water. The eggs had a strange taste and the toast needed to be toasted longer.

Very good

They were super nice, breakfast was good and it was in front of the beach. The snacks menu was really good. The pool was super clean. They let us bring our own drinks to the pool area.

No pool towels. I went to exchange them and the people from front desk only had 2 left. One guy from front desk was super rude and didn’t want to help. There are no blankets in the room. Restaurant prices are high.

we stayed for a night and it was raining, but the water was coming inside the room, and the floor was all wet. the elevator is locked and needs the reception to open it, not so friendly staff too.

What are the worst experiences I have and I really long time

The only thing I like was it was close by the beach.

The road getting to the hotel was terrible. They don't tell you about that and it's really difficult to get there. I don't recommend it this place just because of the road to get there the rooms are really uncomfortable the linen is old and run down and towels are stiff

Breakfast was worst and a joke - guests were asked the time of breakfast during the check-in, and have to queue up to be served by a hotel employee. Food content was ridiculous, inedible and bad coffee.

This hotel is situated in a middle of nowhere, everything - room, bar, breakfast was bad.

Nice hotel but very quiet location.

The rooms were specious and the bed was comfortable.

The closest restaurant is 20-30 mins walk. The staff were miserable most of the time and the breakfast could have been a little more varied.
