Dimitris and his family are very kind, friendly and helpful. The breakfast is normal continental but every day we had got some special greek treats. For dinner we had tasty traditional greek foods (thanks to Maria 😊). The apartment is close to the beach, clean and comfortable. We had very nice week in Corfu.

Dimitri's makes all the difference for the accommodation, he is very helpful and we had a great holiday in general. The beach in Marathias is nice, great Greek yogurt offered by Dimitris, bus to town quite close to the accommodation.

The location is very good, 1 minute walk to a beautiful sandy beach. There is a small market right across the street.
The food was excellent, the breakfast was the same each day, but the dinners were varied. Dimitri served us plenty of fresh and delicious food, greek salad, traditional greek food (souvlaki, pastitsada, pastitsio, tzatziki, fish). One evening there was live music, Dimitri was singing and playing the bouzouki. The taverna is small, but it is very pleasant with a sea view.
Dimitri and his family are wonderful hosts, we felt like at home.
We have booked two rooms, one was more equipped and the other one was more basic. The basic room's bathroom had no shower curtain, so the whole bathroom was wet after a shower.

I did not like my stay in this hotel. Wifi was very poor, the bed with uncomfortable mattress, the dinner was same meat two evenings in a row and even bread was a deficit. We did not have hot water one out of two evenings there.

The hosts, Dimitris and Maria are just as amazing as everybody sais, they go over their heads to make you feel like home, and succeed. the food is amazing and the beach is really close.
The standard rooms are a little dated, but look exactly like the pictures, so you know exactly ehat to expect

The room was very nice, the beach is at two minutes by foot. Dimitri and his family were very kind and the restaurant is delicious !

The hosts, the location of the guesthouse in front of the beach, the beach, Dimitris's shows. The room where I stayed in the guesthouse is not renovated or modernly furnished, but it is clean, it was cleaned every day, hot water whenever I needed it, quiet and cool.

Dimitros and his family, Maria, Maria, Penelope and little Spiros are the nicest people I ever met. Thanks to them this stay was incredibly beautiful for me and my girlfriend. Nice rooms, homemade cooking by Marias, energy and help from Dimitros every time we need it. We had a little concert from Dimitros at the end of our stay, it was really astonishing experience 🥹 Such a nice people
About location: better to have a car, buses are not reliable. Also please bring more cash, as cards are rarely accepted. Beach is very nice, clean and beautiful, 2 min Walk from door to sea

A few metres away from the beautiful sand beach in Marathias, this cosy Family Studio
offer air-conditioned rooms with views of the Ionian Sea from their balcony or patio. Really peaceful and child-friendly place with playground and little market just opposite the door.
Especially we all liked the delicious homemade food of Dimitros! He was very friendly and made our stay so comfortable we felt we were at home!

What makes this place outstanding from any other is a hospitability of landlords. Their guests are not just another tourists, we felt truly taken care of. We will certainly remember delicious meals and cuisine for a long time.

It Is a very cozy family hotel, close to a wonderful sand beach, in a region where small hotels prevail. The family running the house is very welcoming, making you feel at ease, and the home made meals are delicious. They also have a small garden with plenty of toys where our children played. We enjoyed our visit and hope to come back.

Nothing.
First night we checked in the owner gave us the key for the studio but when he left we couldn’t lock the door with that key we texted him to bring us the write key but he stayed he doesn’t have but he will fixed tomorrow which never happened and we had to put a stick in the door at night.
Breakfast is very basic but we asked for eggs for our last day and we didn’t received,he totally ignored us and we had to leave.
In the room’s kitchen is nothing,I needed a kettle to make the child milk but he gave it to us after two days.There is not hot water in the morning,tv not working but on top of that water was dripping on the kitchen counter next to my phone while changed and I removed otherwise I could lose my phone.
I don’t understand why people are accepting this poor service but they gave a good review.

We stayed for 7 night family with a 2 years old child ,it was really nice stay very comfortable , its a family business so if you are ready to be a part of a greek family do not hesitate 👌 first day we had problem with shower and Dimitri the owner bring a plumber very fast to.fix then he moved us to a better room , (i can say rooms upstairs are renovated and very beautiful .
The family it self are very nice smiling with you all day asking how are you ?
They are ready to help you advise you whenever you asked.
We hade breakfast and dinner included breakfast was basic (coffee bread butter jam fresh tomato greek yogurt eggs if you asked for ) basic but very fresh and delicious .
Dinner its cooked by Maria and maria wife and mom and i can say its soooooo delicious so fresh , do not be afraid to ask for different food as they are happy to give you what they can prepare for you.
Lets not forget they have a nice 2 years old boy called Spiros so if you have a child be sure they will be friends he us very nice and friendly .
Let's not forget about a kids playground that we loved it its an indoor you can keep an eye on your kid while you have breakfast or dinner.

It was a very good holiday. I got to know Greece from the inside because I was staying with this wonderful Greek family! Dimitros, Maria and Maria - do unrealistic things to make your vacation as comfortable and good as possible. everything is extremely tasty and nice! we literally became friends. none of my requests were ignored. moreover, I was treated as a friend or brother. it was wonderful and magical. wish your business prosperity! thank you for everything infinitely!

The location & setting is excellent. Proximity to a very nice beach - Marathias beach is just 4 minutes of lazy-walk away - you can find there several beach bars, some of them offering sunbeds & umbrellas for free, if you order drinks/ food from them. A great place for awesome sunsets, also.
Additionally, the location is generally quiet, especially at night. You can find peace of mind & relax at the owners’ taverna or in the garden, and also get a good night sleep during your stay.
The garden is nice and relaxing, also having park spaces with natural shadow, which really helps in a hot summer day.
We stayed in a small studio, not yet renovated, but clean & offering the basics. The owners are in progress with room renovations and we got a glimpse of such a newly renovated room, that looks very nice.
The family-run taverna offers amazing home-cooked meals, Maria (the mother of Dimitri) being an excellent chef, and their portions are generous. They serve their guests that opt in for half-board, but they are also open for other customers that enjoy authentic greek food in a nice setting and with a view to the sea.
To all this, add a special ingredient - the owners personality & attitude. They truly make you feel as staying at your Greek home. Maria (the mother) offered us fresh fruits and vegetables from her garden, and Dimitri is an exceptional host, offering advice, great tips & tricks to visit the island and a glimpse in the corfiot life. Also, his wife, Maria and son Spiros, add to this family atmosphere, making for an unforgetable stay.
There is nothing to mention here.
If you are looking for a 4-5 stars location, this is not what you will find here. Yet.
And maybe this is for the better, as you can just enjoy simple, authentic life in Corfu.
Surely, the studio we had could use renovating, but if you are open to observe and understand the challenges met by the owners, and all their struggle to offer the best experience, you will discover that the personal touch makes up for other features you think you would need.

Location just few steps from amazing beach, family atmosphere, very nice friendly and helpful owners, the best food we had in Corfu - I recommend to go half/full board here. 2 ladies in the kitchen (Maria & Maria) are cooking for guests amazing home-made Greek specials, Dimitrios always explained what meals he is offering and they were very willing to prepare some simple meals for our picky kids as well. As we stayed in neighboring studios (because Family Studios were already fully booked), cannot review the rooms. However the location is great - although it is not directly on the beach, you still have sea-view and it is really only a short nice walk to the beach, our small kids enjoyed it. Beach is really beautiful, sandy, not overcrowded, can use the beach seats with umbrella for consumption in the beach bars/restaurants.

A superb country house with a very nice and kind family,as hosts.The food was very tasty.The lady is a perfect cook.Most vegetables come from their own household.We will return at any time with great pleasure.

Close to the beach, calm place with very very good restaurant inside called Perfect Ten. Maria and Maria are perfect cookers who made only delicious meals. Local vegatables used in this taverna are definitely strong and unbeatable advantage which cannot be forgotten during our entire stay in Corfu. Greek salad, Mousaka, Sofrito, Souvlaki 👍👍👍

Dimitri and his family made us feel like home. The room is basic but clean, new towels and sheets frequently changed. The location is very quiet and very close to the beach. Marathias has one of the most beautiful and sandy beaches from corfu. The food made by Dimitri and Maria is so tasty and authentic. He is very helfpul with recommendations. In front of the taverna, there is a very cute shop owned by his aunt, where you can find anything you need.
Ideally to get by car, since there are 2 km to the village. The room was basic but clean.

We were staying in Family studios for 1 week with my husband and it was our best vacation!! We have received a wonderful treatment from Dimitri and his family :) Food was super delicious and cooked by talented Maria and Maria. and also we have been surprised by thorougg room cleaning with exchange of towels and bed sheets in the middle of our stay. Beach is very close - 3min walk and you can even hear the waves when falling asleep :) We recommend though to keep mosquitos away with electric plug repelent (you can get it right there). We felt like staying with our Greek family from day 1. I must say we are definitely coming back! As we now HAVE the Greek family in Marathias :)

We were extremely lucky to have a host like Dimitris and his family, as we managed to experience the real greek hospitality. Dimitris treated us like we were family members, he helped us with recommendations on what to visit on the island, he was making jokes, bringing us home made food, which was really tasty. My wife is vegetarian and they made separate dishes for her. One evening Dimitris played on his bouzouki while we had dinner, which was the cherry on the cake.
The room was simple, but very clean. We slept well, we didnt have to use the aircon, as the room was very airy.
The location itself is very peaceful, I would definitely recommend it to families or couples, who would like to relax.
Marathias Beach is one of the few places in Corfu where you have a sandy beach, the northern part has mostly rocky ones. Family Studios is also very close to the beach, maximum 5 min walk.
Everything was lovely, we had a great time and the main person to "blame" for this is Dimitris. :) We would like to come back one day.
We enjoyed everything, nothing to complain about.

The Greatest Vacation.
The Marathias Beach are gorgeous with monumental unforgettable Cliffs and Paths.
The Hosts Dimitri and Maria were very helpful and friendly. We felt at the Family Studios safe and calm and free in our actions and desires, every time we got delicious food from Host Maria at a suitable time for us, so much you want. There are no formalities, no prices for services and extra charges, if you want to wash your laundry, you just do it for free, check in&out ist flexible. It was very sad to leave this Place after one week.
We loved Corfu and this place and we recommend the both for each who are looking for serenity.

I don't know were to start ..we were so welcomed by Dimitri and his wife Maria who is an excellent shef,,( thank you for the lovely Greek dishes,) into their property.. we had a large apartment as we have 3 children, very clean ,with a nice view terrace.. the beach is very close ,2 minutes walk, one of the most beautiful beaches in Corfu..we booked it half board which I strongly recommend as I mention above ,the food was perfect, every night something different, all organic vegetables from their garden .. I strongly recommend Family Studios ,such a friendly atmosphere and we will definitely go back
