The owners are amazing and went above and beyond to accommodate my late check in. The restaurant was very good, and I highly recommend dining their. Just a great atmosphere.

The Cadence has become our go to place when hiking in the ADK. Awesome people, terrific setting, great restaurant on site.

Clean and friendly

Overall my stay was amazing! One of the nights people on either side of me had dogs that were barking and just would not shut up for about 2 hours until the owners came back. Thankfully they were only there for the night. Check in process was quick and easy, we were told about the complementary weekend breakfast (an actual hot cooked meal not just stale bagels and cereal) and nightly dinners for guests with a small bar. Food was great! And decently priced. we missed the good weather to sit out by the small outdoor firepit due to rain, but they did also have an enclosed gazebo with a propane fireplace with plenty of seating which was nice to relax in. The room we stayed in (26) was a decent size for including a king bed. There was a pass through for an adjoining room option (27) we only stayed in 26 however but the lock between the rooms seemed adequate. There was a small fridge/freezer for convenience inside what i would assume to be an old closet (several coat hooks in this area) the bathroom was a decent size but could be bigger in my opinion but it got the job done. shower was clean and pressure and hot water were adequate. the bed was not as comfortable as others ive slept in (to me the center seemed high and the edges seemed low could have been a new mattress that wasnt broken in yet for all i know) but the blankets were nice and warm. There were 3 different firmness pillows for each side plus a few throws for lounging the tv seemed to have a lot of channels.

I was skeptical about staying here but I'm glad I did! Room was clean, bed was so comfortable and overall a place I would stay again. Food is made to order, no buffets to deal with. Owners are very friendly. I would highly recommend this place.

Clean rooms but very low water pressure. Fire pit was lit but only with enough fire to last a short while. Would be great if there was a barrel sauna or a central room with a fireplace where guests could lounge. Limited dining options in town and rooms were expensive for just a basic room.

Beautiful little lodge. Everything you need for a comfortable stay for hiking, enjoying the outdoors, or attending a wedding like we did! Breakfast was beyond all expectations and the outdoor seating area with a gas fireplace was amazing. Thank for a memorable stay!

I was surprised at how cute this motel is. They have a very quaint restaurant attached to the office with a nice variety on the menu. The food was very good and they also had a nice selection of drinks. They also have a deck with seating and a pavilion with a fire pit. The rooms were updated and the bed was very comfortable. Spotlessly clean as well, I would definitely stay there again.

This will be our GO TO place to stay during all of our future visits to Whiteface and the Lake Placid area. The rooms are perfect and clean clean clean! The staff are just fantastic and they serve sit down made to order breakfast on the weekends as well as gourmet meals in their restaurant. Shelly and Don are fantastic people!

The owners were very attentive to my inquiries/requests. They were very flexible and accommodating.

The rooms are very comfortable and updated. It doesn't remind me of a lodge, at all. There is a restaurant onsite that offers breakfast as an included charge and dinner. Staff are extremely friendly. It is conveniently located to Keene Valley and Lake Placid. We will definitely stay again.

This is a great find! The restaurant on site is so cozy and the food amazing. There is great outdoor space to relax and even a community kitchen and laundry. The best part is the amazing and accommodating owners and staff!

Great place beautiful

Absolutely loved the hospitality, cleanliness of the property and interior. What a nice surprise to see someone investing back into their property by adding a dining experience, a nicely appointed outdoor covered seating area to eat and relax by the gas fireplace. It made my trip all that more enjoyable when they had nice dry firewood after a serious rainstorm and I had the pleasure of sitting by a crackling fire under the stars in the cool mountain air, while sipping some bourbon.

Owners of Cadence are extremely nice! Very helpful and knowledgeable.

We loved our two night stay! Breakfast included and it waa fabolous! A la carte! They prepared a vegan dish for me which I loved. And not included but delicious was dinner! The risotto. The bed was confortable, the bathroom very clean. Our family recommends this hotel. 5 star!

Staff was difficult to find (not in office even during daylight hours or during morning check out). This property was not bad, but simply way overpriced for what you get. A small, very ordinary room.

The check in process was very easy and the personnel were very pleasant. They went out of their way to get us what we needed without any issues.
