Great place! Sad we only could spend 1 day :( would definitely recommend 2 nights to take all the place has to offer.

The staff is awesome and helpful. The location is a little hard to get to but worth it. Only drawback was the noise level in the cottage. People use it as a turn around at all hours from morning to night. Had a little ant problem in the kitchen but overall a good stay. Great view of El Fortin located right across the way.

This place is lovely! A little slice of heaven on the hills of Vieques. It’s nothing fancy, but you do feel part of the family and feeding the horses in the morning was a bonus! My kids loved it.

We loved this hotel! Although driving through the tight roads made for some excitement, the hotel itself was beautiful with a breathtaking view! Very clean, great service, and small but comfortable! There are 5 parking spaces, but it seems common for people to not drive themselves anyways. The only questionable thing was the free breakfast as it is essentially outside, so bugs flying around is prevalent.

The property has a lot of charm and character. The owners are very personable Americans who have lived in the tiny island of Vieques for years. They gave good recommendations for great beaches and dining options. The setting is typical Puerto Rican countryside, thus there are many very loud roosters that crow loudly and constantly. If you’re a light sleeper, you might wake up to that. The road to the hotel is steep and winding with several hairpin turns but once here, it’s comfortable and welcoming.

My family of 10 loved our stay at Seagate. The rooms were clean and comfortable and exceeded expectations! Rooms were even nicer than the pictures! The owners did everything they could to make our stay perfect. We came on the early ferry and they held our luggage for us, while we were at the beach for the day. They also let us use the beach towels from when we arrived until when we departed. We were even able to rinse and change in the bath house before leaving on the evening ferry. Good recommendations on testaurants and top snorkeling locations.

There was a nice breeze at night, and the weather was perfect, so you could see the ocean from your room and see stars in the sky while sitting outside. The stay in Vieques was wonderful.

This property was very rustic--maybe could use some updating. The people were VERY friendly & helpful. It had a gorgeous view & walkable to town & eating the the fort & not too far from Sea Glass Beach

Kelly and Penny were extremely helpful giving us directions even before we arrived! They gave us contacts and tips around the island and was very courteous and always available! Beautiful views from the balcony as well!

Excellent location and spectacular scenery and garden at Seagate hotel.Horse riding 1 hour tour around the town and on the sea shore was a lifetime experience. Manager Penny and Kelly very prompt n helpful.

We had an amazing stay at Seagate hotel. We stayed for just two nights and I really wish we had stayed longer. The rooms are super cozy with amazing views, everything is very clean and the owners are super nice and welcoming. I really felt at home! We would love to come back and stay for a longer period. They also offer horseback riding which I would love to try next time.

Nice quiet hotel above Vieques. A bit of a walk, and climb to get there with luggage in tow so get a taxi.

Kelly and Penny are great! Kelly texted me the day before and provided taxi and ferry information as well as a map to the hotel. Penny checked us in and gave us a map of the island with directions to restaurants and a market. Our shower head had very little pressure but was promptly fixed the next day. (We checked in late and the office was closed when we realized it) I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again if we visit Vieques!

Kelly & Penny were so welcoming, the property is absolutely beautiful with an amazing view! Penny went out of her way to go over the map of Isabel & Esperanza with me so I could do some of my favorite things & gave me the best advice on food & who to use as a taxi! I was overwhelmed by the hospitality. Will definitely be staying there again on my next visit!

What a wonderful experience, from the checking to check out . Ms. Penny and Ms. Kelly were very helpful and their facility is one of a kind . They are the yellow pages of Vieques. They give you all the best information that you need , from dining to the best beaches . If you ever visit Vieques , this is the place to stay. Thank you for accommodating us and the hospitality.

Nice property. Convenient to restaurants and located in the heart of Vieques. The host offered us beach towels and snorkeling gear to use which was nice. Our boys enjoyed feeding the horses there on property. The breakfast didn't amount to much but it was nice that they offered something. The only downside is that the crowing roosters were loud and had us awake at 4:20 in the morning.

The owner was very friendly. The room was very clean and comfortable for a one night stay. No pool, only a small pool for kids only. Waking up to roosters at 2 am and horses not the best thing but overall for a one night stay it was good. Location was great.

This a beautiful charming place to stay. You really get a feel for the island here with animals all around and beautiful views! Penny was a gracious host who helped us get tours on the island. We even go to ride the horse. Highly recommend.
