Superb

We loved the property. The gardens were well maintained. It was quiet and the other guests were very nice and friendly. The pool was great and the proximity to the beach was the BEST part! Eduardo, the caretaker, was great even though there was a bit of a language barrier it was still easy to communicate any issues or questions.

We had a couple glitches with the water but that was quickly fixed. The WIFI was a little in and out but overall those were minor.

Casa Seuca NEAR the beach

The pool was nice, but not well maintained. The fridge was newish and the unit was stocked with appliances. There were beach chairs available.

The A/C was old and took about 2 hours to cool the unit. There were black hair balls blowing around the deck and the ashtray was full of cigarette butts. The hot tub jets didn't work. There isn't daily maid or grounds service. The internet was very slow and intermittent. There is a TV but no channels available. Our neighbor paid less than half what we were charged, and the property manager was not helpful in resolving the issue. I think we paid for the upper unit, but we're given a lower unit with a patio, not a terrace as advertised.

Divine.

it’s the MOST beautiful house in the world.

the only feedback I have is that it would be nice every few days a quick turnover of the room by staff (towels, garbages, etc). We were here 2 weeks and no one wants to do more than they have to on vacay!

Casa Sueca is great!

The place was quiet and peaceful, away from the business of Tamarindo, yet close enough to everything we needed. Staff were friendly, especially Eduardo! He was so helpful.

First night the water pump went, so we didn't have water for a while, but we made due. Also wifi was off for a while one day, which wasn't really a big deal. We weren't there to be on our phones! It did make it difficult to check in with loved ones back home though.

Very modern comfortable hotel that had everything we needed. The manager and staff were very helpful and kind, and made sure all our questions were answered quickly. We loved our walks on the beautiful Tamarindo beaches!

The staff, despite the language barrier, went above and beyond and were incredibly helpful. The rooms, pool and walkways were always clean ! I enjoyed every moment, and hope to return one day .) Cheers !

Too expensive for what you get.

Very close to beach

It was a really long and unsafe walk (no pavement) to get to shops / restos / any food or drink. No breakfast. No gym. Pool barely larger than a bathtub.

Perfect location. Easy walk into town but away from the crowds. Beautiful gardens and palm trees giving just the right amount of shade down at the pool.

You were provided only 1 key for the gate and your unit which was awkward if you were doing something on your own.

Nice place to stay in great location.

Nice outdoor chilling space, equipped kitchen, great location.

The bathroom was full of massive ants. They would come out at night and were all over the toilet seat making it unpleasant for us to use the toilet. They were also in the kitchen too

Great studio, 2 minutes from the beach.

Nice studio in small gated area. Pool just outside my room. hammock and space to park.

Toilet was a bit smelly and I couldn’t get tv to work.

Exceptional

Our family loved the pool, which we had mostly to ourselves. The staff were friendly and very welcoming. The full kitchen was great. We enjoyed that the location was just a touch off the main area so it wasn't as busy. Beautiful hotel, path that leads right to the beach.

Our kids slept in the second bed, a small futton, it was hard in spots and quite uncomfortable, otherwise a perfect stay.

Perfect Getaway in Tamarindo

the pool area was amazing. The apartment was super spacious and everything you might need is available. The shower got nice and hot and the AC system worked great. WiFi was perfect. Just a few steps away from the beach and 5 min walk from city center. Gated property which is always a plus. Highly recommend. thanks to all the staff.

Perfect location and wonderful stay!

This location is perfect…the beach is about a 2 minute walk right down a path to Tamarindo Beach. Restaurants and grocery store close by. The manager and Eduardo were super helpful with whatever we needed! The rooms are clean and spacious. They had beach chairs we could take down to the beach which was nice. The patios are perfect for spending most of your time.

Well presented and carefully looked after.

Surprisingly further out of town than I expected. However I got organised ordering taxis. The owners were extremely helpful too getting trips booked.

It was an amazing stay at Casa Sueca!

Our stay at Casa Sueca exceeded our expectations. The rooms and property were very clean and well equipped. The pool was so lovely and just a walk across the street to the beach. And Elodie and her team were exceptionally helpful and made our trip even better! Elodie helped us book multiple adventures and they were all above and beyond what we were hoping for!

Wonderful property with private pool & just steps to the beach! It was perfect for our family of 6! The room was great for us complete with two full/queen beds and a sofa bed, bathroom, kitchen, stovetop, sink and fridge. We had everything we needed to make Pina Coladas and breakfast! Beach and pool were great. Staff was amazing as well and communication with Elodie was flawless. Recommend staying at Casa Sueca to all!

The place was perfect! The kitchen is well stocked, the patio was awesome and it’s a short walk to the beach! And the staff were very helpful! We could have easily stayed a whole month 😊

Exceptional location (very close to beach access). Well-maintained grounds and attentive staff. Extremely safe due to gated entrance. Pleasant and clean pool. Peaceful and quiet. Calm base to return to after visiting the livelier side of Tamarindo during the day or evening - all within walking distance.

Parking is tight within grounds, especially when multiple cars are present. There is street parking, however, which is fine. Agree with another reviewer that first floor suites may offer greater privacy. Shower pressure was fine for me but understand this could be problematic for those with longer/thicker hair. Still a great place, no doubt.

We will definitely return!!!

Very close to the beach, chilled atmosphere, still at walking distance from center. The apartment was huge, terrace amazing, monkeys passing by regularly. Beatiful lush garden, nice pool area also with shades. Great communication with the property manager, he was very kind and helpful.
