Located in Woody Creek, this attractive house for $977 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. The ASPEN RIVERHOUSE is situated in the heart of the Roaring Fork valley and convenient to Aspen and Snowmass. This affordable, comfortable family-oriented home on two private, sunny, riverfront acres, features mountain vistas and direct riverfront access. Abundant lawn with path to the river which babbles year-round! Only ten minutes to Snowmass, Buttermilk, Highlands and Aspen Ski Resorts and 3 miles to Aspen Airport (served by major airlines). You are also just a short drive to White River National Forest for mountain hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, and four wheeling trails. You can fish all year long just out your back door on the Roaring Fork River, a 'Gold Medal' trout stream. Enjoy river rafting from your backyard or just lounging by the river. An eight person hot-tub on the sundeck overlooks the river and also affords mountain and river views. A separate secluded riverside screened porch with hammock and porch swing doubles as a restful meditation area. The home also features a large natural stone fireplace with sunken conversation area, dining room seating for up to ten, skylights that brighten the full kitchen which includes utensils and all appliances, vaulted ceilings throughout. Linen and towels are provided. Experienced offsite caretakers provide snow shoveling, emergency maintenance, hot-tub care, etc. Riverhouse has a lovely, landscaped yard, a paved roadway and private onsite parking. It is located one block downhill from the shuttle route serving Aspen and all ski areas. Quiet and tranquil yet just minutes from the shopping, restaurants, and night scene of incomparable Aspen. The Riverhouse was our choice for our annual family vacation-9 adults (17-80) and an eleven year old. Loved the different spaces at the riverhouse-could all be together or find our separate areas. But the deck was the best for coming together! Nice to have en-suite bathrooms for most of the bedrooms! Kitchen was well stocked and had plenty of everything we needed! So much to do in Aspen-Sunday on Aspen mountain, yoga, whitewater rafting on the Arkansas River, Maroon Bells, Snowmass concert on the lawn of Fanny Hill, and woody Creek Tavern! Would love to think we could return! Like Colorado best in the summer! Thanks Bill for sharing your home!

Beautiful location on the river, located in a great place relative to exploring, lots of room to spread out and great spaces to hang out together. We loved the outdoor patio and being down by the river. Perfect for our family reunion!

We stayed at the Riverhouse home for our Spring break week and couldn't have asked for a better place for our family. The layout of the home was perfect for multiple families. There are plenty of bathrooms and the downstairs space with a pool table and TV area was great for the teens. The kitchen is well stocked with small appliances as well as spices and condiments.
It was an easy drive to skiing and into town for dinner.

We just returned from a fabulous ski trip with our family and friends. This house is 3 minutes from the free park and ride bus to Snowmass, Aspen and the other mountains. We found the house to be very spacious and comfortable for our group. The cozy retro style and gorgeous views of this house just added to our experience. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking and had many items and supplies we used a few and left a few more. I recommend checking into the house prior to shopping you may find many things on your list are already there like spices, etc. I would highly recommend staying at this beautiful house on the river. We were visited several times by a number of deer in the yard. Great trip! Thank you so much for sharing your home with us.

We very much enjoyed our stay at this property. It was perfect for a family ski vacation. We had 9 or10 people (kids and adults) most nights and there was plenty of room for everyone. We primarily skied at Snowmass, a short 15 minute drive away, even in the snow (which we got a lot of while we were there!). We ate most of our meals at the house - which worked out well. We also enjoyed the hot tub for apres ski. The house is located directly on (and has BEAUTIFUL views of) the Roaring Fork River. We would highly recommend this house for a winter vacation.

Very spacious. The cabin was nice being spread out over three floors. Very nice recreational area. Views were outstanding.
We saw several different types of wild life.
Mule deer came out right under the front porch one day, as well as a flock of turkeys.
We saw two bald eagles and numerous types of birds. The kids did sledding beside the house.

The property was easy to find in a great location. It was very comfortable with lots of space and very clean. The jacuzzi, river in back yard, and fireplace all added to the experience. Thank you Bill.

Great location, comfortable and impressive facility.
This is our 2nd year that my family (kids, grandkids) stayed at The Riverhouse. It was as memorable as the first. The location is unbeatable and the house is very accommodating. Also the owner is extremely responsive to any issues. 5-star is definitely earned.

Awesome Week @ The Riverhouse
The Riverhouse exceeded all expectations. The listing is accurate, plenty of space for a multigenerational family to spread out. The outdoor space and views are beautiful and the river setting is serene, peaceful and more breathtaking than I ever would have imagined. Bill was a tremendous host, responsive and welcoming. We are already discussing plans for next summer.

Had a great stay at the Riverhouse -- big enough for our group of 9 adults (with room to spare)! Private setting backing to peaceful river, while also convenient location to the ski resorts, other outdoor activities and the airport. Owner was great to work with and very flexible - as we moved the dates of our stay to 2022 due to the crazy Pitkin county COVID regulations in 2021. No doubt a great place to stay during the summer as well. Would definitely stay here again.

The location of this property is outstanding - alongside flowing stream. The house is very well designed with lots of room and space to spread out. The outside patio is very comfortable. WiFi was outstanding (100 Mbps+).

The location and layout of this property was perfect for a group of 7 guys that were in town for production work in Aspen. We enjoyed the fire pit by the river and the back deck most of the evenings during our stay.

Amazing Home
We loved our time in this gorgeous home on the river! We loved all the room we had and the house is perfect for families. The outdoor deck was beautiful & so relaxing to hear the river. The home had everything you could dream of to make our stay there perfect! The beds were comfortable and the the stereo system was nice! The owner was so easy to communicate with and was so kind! We will definitely come back and stay in this beautiful home! The fire pit and chairs were so relaxing and the views were spectacular!

Exceeded ALL expectations!
I was responsible for finding a vacation house for 4 (very picky) couples traveling over our Thanksgiving break (lots of pressure!) THIS HOUSE is awesome, y’all! (I’m from Texas. :) The layout of the house is perfect for a group this size. It’s spacious, very comfortable sleeping, perfect for cooking, warm fireplace, great patio seating, wonderful hot tub, beautiful views, serene sitting out by the river. Seriously, I can’t say enough about this house and the owner. Stay here! My whole group agreed, and we would love to return to this house in the future.

Incredible house.
This house is even better than described! Tons of room—allowing members of our large family to work remotely while others played. The river access is wonderful—we fished every evening, with much success. So well equipped, and owner was quickly available to answer any questions. We can’t wait to return.

The River’s the Star!
The Riverhouse is the best place for a 13 member family get together. Plenty of room to spread out. The kids and teens loved the river and fishing! The adults enjoyed the beautiful scenery from the deck and down by the river. We all enjoyed gatherIng down by the river around the campfire. Would love to live there. The owner was just a message away with answers to our questions.

Great location
Great location to all four ski resorts! Beautiful setting along the water and the house met all our expectations. Only wish the hot tub wasn’t under the deck where the snow from above would drip on us. Otherwise great place and would rent it again.

Great Property
We had a wonderful time at Riverhouse. The owner was great to deal with was always available to answer questions not only about the property, but also about the surrounding ski areas. As mentioned in other the reviews, the hot tub, and pool table were a big bonus after a day of skiing. We would highly recommend and look forward to booking the property again in the future.

Riverhouse ski trip
Beautiful and charming house by the river perfect for 6 middle aged guys on a ski trip. Plenty of room. Hot tub was a lifesaver. Pool table was a lot of fun. Great owner who amazingly lent us his car when our own rental car couldn’t handle the weather. I would advise a 4 wheel drive at Snowmass in the winter. Everyone had a wonderful time and we would stay again.

Spacious and good location
6 bedrooms and enough space for everybody! Well equipped with everything you need for a family vacation. Short drive to Aspen/Snowmass. Will definitely recommend. The only thing less ideal is we have to park outside and there is no easy ski gear storage.

Perfect in every way!
We were beyond pleased with our stay at Riverhouse. The accommodations were perfect! The home was spotless with more than enough supplies and necessities for the week. The kitchen was fully functional as well. The location of the property could not have been more perfect for relaxing by the river or in the hot tub after a long day of skiing and was close to all four mountains in the Aspen/Snowmass area. WE CANT WAIT TO COME BACK!
