Nestled in Edisto Beach, this lovely house for $230 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. Edisto's favorite floor plan super sized with 2 additional bathrooms and located on the Point of Edisto Beach. Come experience one of the east coast's best kept secrets for family vacations, just steps to great shells and sandy non crowded beaches. Great proximity for golfing or fishing. House sleeps 10 comfortably with flexible sleeping arrangements on living room futon, roll out cot, or hidden trundle bed. Enjoy views of the ocean from the screened in porch on one of our comfy rocking chairs or outdoor sofa, large family meals from our open concept kitchen and dining area and well stocked gourmet kitchen. Features extra bar seating, and large main dining table. Full size washer and dryer available just off kitchen for convenience. Large screen TV in main living area with plenty of comfortable seating features You Tube TV with 70+ channels or portable DVD player to view preferred movies on multiple TVs throughout the home. Comes with all the creature comforts of home provided (bedding, bath/beach towels, soap/shampoo, coffee/tea, Central AC/Heat). New stove/oven and windows and sliding glass doors in 2023!

This our third time staying at this property. It is located steps from the beach. Everything you need is provided including beach chairs. Best part is the 4 bathrooms. We will definitely stay here again!

This house and property are great but what is even better is the communication from the owner and the cleanliness of the house.
We have rented in Edisto for 25+ years and this is house is the best as far as how clean it is. Everyone commented "you can tell this house isn't cleaned by standard cleaning service".
It is also set up very well for renters which isn't the case with most houses. Would definitely recommend and rent again anytime available.

This home was clean, roomy, and close to beach. The amenities were great for our needs, we had all the required kitchen appliances and dishes so we could cook meals. The back porch had plenty of space for all six of us to sit outside and enjoy the sunset and listen to the waves crashing. The hammock was amazing and great for a late afternoon nap. It was such a convenience to be able to hose off your sandy items and body at the outside shower and hose area that is offered at this home. The host, John was very communicative and answered all questions in a timely manner. Everything was convenient, professional, and thoroughly thought out. The location was great! We wanted to be able to access the beach at the very end of the island where the bend was, and where the ocean meets the bay area. The water was not too rough at this area like it is closer to the entrance of Edisto island. Over all, we had a magnificent time.

We have a new favorite beach and place to stay! The house was so well stocked from the bathrooms to the kitchen. The cleanest VRBO we have stayed in. The back porch was heavenly and should be counted as an additional room; I think we stayed out there more than inside the house. Very short walk to the beach. Overall excellent stay and John was very responsive.

The beach house is perfect for a low key getaway for friends. It’s clean, tidy, and the host was so nice to offer an early check-in and late checkout since the time was available.

This is the second time we have rented this property during Thanksgiving. It’s cozy but there is also plenty of room for extended family. The house is in easy walking distance to the beach. We will definitely consider staying here again on our next trip to Edisto Beach.

The beds were very comfortable with plenty of extra linens for the couple chilly nights we had. We enjoyed hanging out on the upper veranda. And we were only a two minute walk from the beach.
I appreciated that the owner let us both check in early and check out late. It was also nice that the place was supplied with some basics like shampoo and cream rinse as well as laundry supplies and coffee and cooking oil and paper products. This was very considerate so we didn’t have to race to a store right away.
There are a few small maintenance items that could use attending to, like a closet door that is hard to shut. But none of these matters interfered with our comfort.
I recommend this VRBO.

My mom, sisters, nieces, great niece, and great nephew enjoyed a few days at Smitten Flamingo at Edisto Island. The house was very spacious; we really enjoyed the screened in porch and sunset views. Our only major issue was with the oven not heating properly.

My family and I enjoyed an incredible week in Edisto Beach. One of the key ingredients was this amazing beach house. Communication with the host from beginning to end was just right. The house was spacious and comfortable, and everything we needed was right there. It’s a short walk to the beach with easy access to everything else. We have already reserved the Smitten Flamingo for next summer’s vacation and would encourage others to do the same.

Comfort and Convenience
We would consider the Smitten Flamingo our favorite property at Edisto Beach after 30 years of vacationing there. It was perfect for the age ranges of 2 to 80 staying at the house. Everything about this house was comfortable and convenient. The owner includes many small touches, like a covered outdoor shower, multiple hose pipes, an outdoor trash can right by the door, two paper towel holders by the sink, and multiple outdoor entrance options that made the stay so easy! The beds and couches were comfortable and many were able to sit at the table for meals. The walk to the beach was short and pleasant, and the location was very quiet and relaxed. There were plenty of games and books for both kids and adults to enjoy, We would recommend this property to anyone seeking a comfortable, convenient, and relaxing stay at Edisto.
