Our stay was made better with the tasty dishes we had there.

Loved the food. The cooks were very friendly and also made the yummiest food at such a reasonable price. Our breakfast was of course included, and that too was brilliant.

The electric kettle could have been in a better condition. It was rusted. The heater/blower didn’t work.

Home away from home!

Some places make you feel home, and this property is one such place. We were a little disappointed that we did not have a buffet. But when the staff makes hot food and serves home food fresh, who needs a buffet! We enjoyed our fresh meals and breakfast. Hats off to the day-time cook (lady whose name I forgot to ask). Our room (Malda) opened up to the mango courtyard, and it was pleasure to wake up to the chirping of birds and rustling of trees. Every item of the room has been carefully designed and artistically decorated. There was adequate space outside and inside the room for my kids to play around and not get bored. The gardens inside the property are well maintained. The property is located right next to paltan bazaar and everything is available within a kms distance. Reaching the place is a challenge since traffic in Dehradun can get notorious. Highly recommend the e-ricks available right outside the property.

2 night stay at Dehra!

Hotel is located on a nice (relatively quiet) road which is not too busy. You can walk down to the busy Paltan Bazar. Rooms are housed in atmospheric building - we realized that the original property was more than 150 years old! Rooms are set around a few mango trees & rooms are named after different varieties of mangoes. Small stoned drive way from hotel gate to building with a small garden in the center is quite pleasant. 04 rooms have been provided on the ground floor while probably 06 more are on 1st floor. Rooms with stone floors are spacious enough. Property has a small restaurant which serves delicious food. Staff is nice & polite.

Room & bathroom maintenance could have been much better. Edges of bed frame are peeling off. Bathroom door knob came off easily, soap dispenser did not work most of the times. WC flush gave us a real hard time! Property allows guests with pets - this can be disturbing to other guests.

Old world charm with all the comforts & conveniences

1. The property is an old heritage bungalow of sorts & is very well done up. 2. The open courtyard, dining & sit out along with the heavily planted outdoor makes for a lovely property to stay in even if you dont want to step out 3. The breakfast is limited but whatever is there is absolutely fresh & delicious, served by some very courteous staff 4. The rooms are good sized and the facilities & well maintained and squeaky clean

Mosquitoes. Though i wouldn't say its their fault. Would just advise guests to carry a repellent.

Superb

I particularly liked the attention to detail paid by the Staff and their warm nature. Ms. Bharathi from the kitchen was very pleasant and serves us with a smile on her face always. Arjun was always available to help with every little request.

Room was not available inspite of my arrival timing msgs & host replied my msg " o.k., Sir.It was very disgusting, my flight was a bit late & i send a second msg of delay,reached 8.30 P.M Manager was very rude & didn't apologize.

Totally uncooperative & Rude Manager.

Home away from home

Loved the personalized experience they provided to us. The property is very well kept, has a relaxed vibe and has great accessibility. They also have a cute doggo who is super friendly.

Not value for money & No transparency.

Breakfast Ok.

Cook 👨‍🍳 decides the price of food 🍲 they make. Very costly food. No transperent policy. As per booking standard rooms are available with without sunlight, means very unhealthy always you need to keep your lights on. When informed Manager he charged Rs. 1000/-more for a better room. I need to pay extra. So I cancelled booking for next day.

Skip this, unless you have something to do in the city center.

The location & seclusion from the main road is nice.

We paid for a luxury room with supposed garden courtyard views & got taken for a ride at check-in, saying those are not available. I also compared the pics of the Standard, Deluxe & Luxury rooms & we were clearly put up in a non-luxury room. Dunno if it was standard or deluxe because it is not mentioned anywhere in the property itself. The only view we had was of the lobby facing another similar room's window..... We just went out & about the town instead of getting dismayed.

Resort like stay in the middle of the city

Mango Tree courtyard is an excellent place. Our check-in was late at night, but it was a breeze and hot tasty dinner was waiting for us. Our daughter fell sick during the travel to Dehradun, so we could not explore much of Dehradun, but the staff took great care and provided us with healthy meals and whatever we needed. Please go for the Deluxe rooms, they are significantly more value for money.

The non veg dinner is pricey.

Wishing I could have stayed longer but was in transit and only had one night.

The decor was beautiful. The ambience was superb. It was quiet. It was welcoming. A super library with several gorgeous areas to sit and read quietly. A haven. Staff were great Breakfast sumptuous Interesting local markets

Superb

Very beautiful and relaxing property, and extremely hospitable staff. Simple meals with customization as required. Property location is right in middle of the city and close to paltan bazaar. We stayed for only one night but staff ensured all our needs are met.

We had nonveg dinner one night…they charge 1100 for dinner for two people…For the menu they served it was too costly…the food was also not tasty…

Room service needs to be improve…didnot provide water into room after telling multiple times.
