Great little B&B. Location perfect for going into the City of Edinburgh, which was only a 10-15 minute walk to the castle/main street. Having a car park was the reason we chose this place. Was ideal.
House is big, clean and owners friendly and the breakfast was sufficient to set yourself up for the day. Would definately book to stay here again.
The beds fin the room we were in, felt small for single beds, but for one night was fine.
On arrival, I tried to pay by Amex, but the machine kept declining. I spent 10-15 minutes on the phone to Amex and was told it was the B&B's machine declining the payment. Had to pay via another method. In hindsight, I think they didn't actually take Amex, and didn't just say. Could be wrong..

The rooms were very clean, and the host was lovely. Location-wise, it was absolutely epic. Made it quite easy to get into the heart of the city.
We got the top-most room (Room 8) on Level 2, which is placed almost like an attic. The stairs were very steep and narrow, and that resulted in a big issue every time we had to go up and down the stairs - especially when carrying luggage. So, if you have any mobility issues, please specify that you do not want the Level 2 rooms (Room 8 & 9).
Secondly, if you keep the windows closed, the room has a stuffy smell - the one you get in old houses.

It was the full package, a traditional Scottish Guest House with a modern twist. It looks great upon arrival. Hosts Suny & James went out of their way to ensure I had a very comfortable stay. Parking in the city too, How good is that!!!! Breakfast in the morning was amazing, after a very good night sleep. I was there for the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and all the entertainment was walking distance. If you want a comfortable stay in a traditional Scottish Guest House, this is the place to go!!
