Mercure Strasbourg Centre Petite France

I felt completely at home throughout my stay at Mercure Strasbourg Centre Petite France. The room was cozy and had everything I needed: a spacious shower with a hairdryer, a large wardrobe, a safe, individually adjustable air conditioning, a window and a balcony. The soundproofing was excellent. There was also a TV, a desk and chair, a bedside table, and a tea and coffee station with a kettle, mugs, tea, coffee and sugar. The room itself was not very large, but it was practical and thoughtfully equipped. There were plenty of power outlets, both by the desk and on either side of the bed. The bed was large and comfortable, and the pillows were comfortable too. The room had carpeted flooring. Housekeeping was provided daily, and the bed linen and towels were clean. The reception is open 24/7, and check-in and check-out were both quick and hassle-free. In the evening and at night, access to the hotel is secured with a key card. Coffee, tea and water are available in the lobby. There is a water dispenser with chilled and sparkling water, as well as a coffee machine. The location is excellent. The hotel is very close to the train station, but at the same time it's not right on the station square, where there can be quite a crowd in the evenings. It's closer to the Petite France district and the famous Ponts Couverts. Strasbourg Cathedral is also within easy walking distance, about 15 minutes. All the staff are friendly, welcoming and helpful. Overall, I had an excellent experience at this hotel.

Perhaps the only downside was the lack of a mini-fridge in my room. I believe that the more expensive room categories do have one.

Very clean and well located in the proximity of Little France in Old Strasbourg. The filtered and sparkling water in the lobby was a very good touch. All staff was courteous and helpful

The hotel is in a great location, we arrived by train and it was a short walk to the hotel. Most of the places we wanted to go were also in walking distance, and there is a tram stop nearby for places further away. The hotel was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. There is a good selection at breakfast. There is a water and coffee station next to reception.

Our room was very small and on the top floor, there was a sloping roof and old beams coming diagonally across the bed, we had to move the pillows and sleep the opposite way around in the bed to avoid hitting our heads.
