Hôtel Rohan Strasbourg

We stayed 4 nights on the 4th floor and we were very happy with our stay. The hotel is very, very central which made it convenient to stop in whenever we wanted to drop something off or quickly freshen up. There is a small elevator but it still fit 2 slim adults and 2 medium suitcases. We usually took the stairs, but if we needed the elevator it was always very quick. Front desk: always well-attended and everyone was friendly and helpful. Bed: very comfortable, and we slept well. We’re not used to blackout curtains so it was very, very dark (if you like that sort of thing). A night light would have been nice but not essential. Bathroom: very well-lit, which was appreciated as so many hotel bathrooms often have dim lighting. It was large enough for 2 of us to get ready and the shower was excellent. Noise levels: despite being central, we didn’t notice any noise. The room felt peaceful at all times. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Air conditioning: it was available and needed (some days reached 28 Celsius), but it dripped heavily when in use. We had to keep a towel under it at all times. We let the staff know at the end of our stay. It was the only complaint in an otherwise perfect stay.

The location was amazing, right in the middle of the city just off the square where the cathedral is. Great for places to eat two minutes walk, the tram stop five minutes walk. The rooms were spacious, very comfortable and clean. Good choice for breakfast. Staff very helpful. Would definitely return if I visited Strasbourg again

Beautiful rooms in the heart of Strasbourg. We had what I’d call a suite rather than a room. Very clean with everything catered for. Beautiful
