The location is great.

We have stayed here numerous time and the hotel is beginning to feel very dated , the rooms have not been refreshed in a while

The swimming pool was clean and a good tempreture. The reasturant was lovely at night and the bar area was nice The area for the wedding we attended was nicely decorated and a perfect size for rhe number of guests.

The hotels decor was very tired in the majority of areas, the room had scuffs and marks all over the walls and a wardrobe door was missing. In the bathroom the tap leaked, it was missing parts and the bath looked grubby. There were no amenities in the bathroom such as a shower cap, cotton pads or ear buds. The breakfast looked as though it had been out for hours, the yoghurt did not look fresh and the selection overall was pretty poor. The tea and coffee facilities also need to be updated i feel. I have stopped in other Macdonald hotels and I feel the standard of this one was far below what I was expecting.
