Holiday Inn York by IHG

The room was a good size and area around and outside was quiet. The shower was a good temperature and a good pressure.

The walls were thin and we could hear the man next door talking on his phone Although the car park was large, it was full and tight

Ideal location, very close to York Racecourse.

Nothing to dislike.

Friendly reception staff . Nothing was to much trouble when I requested extra items for our room Fakura the Gentleman on reception the day we arrived Sat 3rd Oct went above and beyond to make our anniversary weekend special. Spotless everywhere throughout the hotel . The bar area especially has a trendy vibe . City centre is a 25 minute walk away or there’s a bus stop across from the hotel. Breakfast is plentiful with lots of fresh food. Would highly recommend . Free parking is a big bonus for York hotels

Nothing to dislike here

Did not take the breakfast. Location was a little out of town.

Quite a long walk into town but ok if you took the bus.
