Location, surroundings, space.
Food was very good, breakfast excellent.
Our waitress was fantastic - unfortunately cannot remember her name - but hairdresser by day! Thank you
Bar staff were rude, complete opposite from the restaurant staff, both girls acted as though they didn’t want to be there, made us feel like we were an inconvenience

Facilities were very good & staff were friendly & helpful.
Having to walk through the bar area to access the pool. Watching others semi clothed after using the pool walking through the bar area.

The pool was nice, bar and restaurant staff really friendly and helpful
Trying to find the location in the dark was challenging
Beds uncomfortable, lumpy pillows, broken window latch (would not open or close properly), leaking shower head, tired rooms. Not as good as a prem inn

The chamber staff were amazing, thoughtful and eager to please.
I seriously feel that this experience was mis-sold. When you book, you think you're staying in this gorgeous manor house/castle. In reality, you're staying in a building down the road (half a mile away) that resembles a motorway Inn or hotel, which was tired and dated. Sadly, I don't have pictures to share, as it was not that exciting. Book with Caution.
