Food was first class. Both breakfast and dinner. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. We had a view over the river and the room was perfect to just sit by the window with a drink to enjoy the view. All of the staff were great but the reception staff were particularly helpful. We booked for another night while we were there and they did everything to make sure we got the best room / rate.

This hotel is very grand, and beautiful. Lovely views of the river from our attic room.
Very central for location too, with easy parking right outside.
No lift, and a massive amount of stairs to the attic room, but I guess it’s an old building, so this is just my personal opinion.
