On entering the hotel you will be met by warm and inviting staff. off to the left of the reception is an insanely stocked whisky lounge but prices are on the steep side for you average dram. There is a 24 bar located en route to the rooms and an Aperol was £18!!! scandalous.
Charlies is the main restaurant and breakfast area. breakfast was good but the plates were weirdly small, slightly bigger than a side plate. the smell of the “Smokies” reeked out the lobby at the lifts and filled the corridor towards the spa.
The spa was nice, 4hrs consecutively is the max for hotel guests per day. pools, ans hot tub were nice. one sauna out of action with a smashed glass panel. one foot spa missing a plug so no couples chill out there.
Room was nice, but the air con was loud even when we had it switched off and door open. Clean and well presented, good amenities and the wife said the hair dryer was not too shabby.
