Gwesty Seren Hotel

This is the third time I've had a one night stopover when doing a 4-day MTB ride. Really like the place, accommodates bikes, very nice rooms, really comfy beds and amazing showers, just the job after a long day in the saddle. Great breakfast where the chef knows how to cook bacon, don't stop doing the right way 👌 And not forgetting the friendly staff 👍

Nothing not to like, I'd recommend it to anyone and I'm sure I'll be back. Just check before hand if there will be in evening meal on or not. Not an issue as you can nip to the pub in town, 10 mins walk.

Location with the views was very good. The rooms was clean and spacious. Breakfast was also very good.

The front area needed a good clean. There is an access lift with glass sides and this was green with algae and full of leaves. This didn't impact my stay but it's the 1st thing you see. The front just needed a good sweep and tidy up to make it welcoming. This was in direct conflict with the interior which was very neat. Only one towel in the room was an oversight. They took the order for breakfast the night before which is fine but it seemed strange to be asked if you wanted orange juice and tea or coffee to find all of those bits are self serve when you get into the dining room which felt a little odd.

The surroundings were amazing, beautiful views. Peaceful in the gardens The staff were very helpful and polite. The breakfast was lovely and came out as soon as we sat down as its preordered at a certain time which there was different time slot options available in the morning

Maybe we should have done a bit more research before we booked and although we knew we had a disabled joint access twin room, we didn’t realise we would be hearing everything our neighbours made. There was a lot of screaming and shouting in the night. Our bathroom smelt very medical, it felt very hospital like. We came in the mind frame that we wanted a bed for the night, and that is what we got but the bathroom wasn’t a pleasant smell We ordered the same breakfast for both days but mine came out the 2nd day different. Was offered a replacement but decided to keep what was given which my husband was pleased as he got more
