Good Location for Trains and Taxis and Local shopping precincts.

Room was smallish but not too bad - had a small table and chairs which we liked. Nice decor and good location near the station and shops restaurants.

Had difficulty getting blankets to use as we prefer them to a doona. Not usually a problem in other hotels but reception staff here not really happy to oblige. Otherwise no other negatives.

Comfortable. The breakfast was amazing. Lots of choice.

There was an error with the beds. It said double but when we got there they were two king singles. They pushed them together so it wasn’t too bad. We asked for them to call a taxi for us to go to the Limosine bus to the airport but the man at the counter said he couldn’t do that. He told us to wait outside and get one. It was very disappointing after a lovely trip. My phone didn’t let me ring and it was pouring with rain. There were no available taxis at that time in the morning so we had to walk 10 minutes in the rain with all of our luggage. Soaking wet and cold put a dampener on the trip. I’m not sure why he couldn’t ring. The Monterey at Tokyo phoned a taxi for us when we were going to the station no problems at all. The staff there weren’t as accomodating or as pleasant as the other places we stayed. It was like everything was a bother.
