Astor Hotel Athens

The hotel is very well located, the facilities are beautiful, and the breakfast area overlooking the Acropolis is definitely the highlight. Breakfast was delicious, varied, and included typical greek products. The room also had a bathrobe, slippers, and all the necessary amenities and kits.

There was no rack or hook to hang the towels in the bathroom, and the bathtub did not drain properly because the plug caused water to accumulate, which was uncomfortable.

The hotel is not brand new, but it is very comfortable, clean, and well maintained. The location is definitely one of the highlights. We were right in the middle of a lovely neighborhood, close to everything, with easy access to the metro. We could walk almost everywhere and explore Athens very easily without needing a car. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Another highlight is the breakfast and restaurant area, which has an absolutely beautiful view of the Acropolis, probably one of the best views in the city and a wonderful way to start the day.

Our room could fit up to 4 people, but was a little small and crowded for three people, with luggage, but for a short stay, especially since we were out exploring most of the day, it worked ok.
