Hotel Indigo Madrid - Princesa by IHG

Great Location, not too far from all the landmarks.

A bit of an older facility but well maintained.

Comfortable. The location is good.

This was in a good location with excellent public transport nearby

The rooms are a lot smaller then they look in the photos and the shower didn't drain very well

Good location near public transport. Restaurant staff very nice and helpful and food was good. Nice breakfast. Room was clean and comfortable and there were complimentary soft drinks in the minibar.

Our rooms were both inward facing, one of them onto a fire escape. They were very dark and felt quite dingy because of this. We were disappointed as I had booked well in advance and we were paying a relatively high rate in terms of this hotel. We mentioned it to the desk staff (after one room was changed for another equally dark room) who was not terribly helpful and said simply she would mention it to management. Many hotels specify whether a room is courtyard or street facing at booking and I recommend this is done here. I was surprised this wasn’t mentioned by other reviews as I would have requested a bright room (as suggested by the desk person).
