Good location for visiting historic center and access to train station. Friendly staff.
Lots of stairs if you’re on the 3rd floor. 60 steps! Didn’t bother me but no elevator so it might be tough for some. WiFi on top floor didn’t connect consistently.

With the tram out of service during bridge repairs, the walk into town felt like being on the wrong side of the river.

Very quiet location and nice peaceful room with a comfortable bed. Good location as across the very large river but easy to walk across the bridge to centre of Bordeaux or get a tram. Friendly owner of hotel who stayed and chatted through breakfast and offered local stewed prunes.
We had to request pastries that were ordered the night before, they were ok but the French bread was better.
