Ambience Hotel Taipei

Our week-long stay at Ambience Taipei was absolutely wonderful! Everything exceeded our expectations, from the rooms, location, and cleanliness to the delicious breakfast. But what truly made our stay unforgettable was the incredibly warm, welcoming, and thoughtful staff. The reception team went above and beyond to help us with everything we needed and made us feel at home from the very first moment. A very special thank you to Mei, Sandy, and Mandy at reception for their kindness, warmth, and outstanding hospitality. They made us feel so welcome and cared for throughout our entire stay. We wish every hotel could offer this kind of genuine, heartfelt service that makes you feel at home, even when you are far away from it. We left absolutely delighted with our experience and cannot recommend Ambience Taipei enough. We would happily stay here again and truly hope to return very soon! Thank you for making our time in Taipei so special. ❤️

Friendly staff, great value. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home.

This hotel definitely exceeded my expectations as far as first impressions go. The outside did not seem appear too inviting, but the facilities and rooms themselves were wonderful. Quite spacious for a standard room and beds were very comfortable. Staff were especially amazing, everyone from the front desk to cleaning staff were all super nice and extremely willing to help where they could. During our stay, it rained everyday, but the front desk provided umbrellas quickly and they were large and convenient to use; this was a plus since it meant we didn't need to buy our own. It was close to a lot of bus routes which made a significant amount of travel convenient.

My one negative is that there is a glass panel at the shower area which is visible from the bedroom. Granted there is a blind you can pull down, but is still a bit awkward, especially at night since it can cast a shadow which can be seen from the hotel window. Also not too close to any metro train stations, about a 10-15 min walk, which can be significant in harsh weather or carrying baggage.

Beds were comfortable, room was clean, great breakfast. Staff friendly and helpful. Took taxis mainly to our destinations to other districts.

A gym would have been great but there are gyms nearby that you can get daily passes.
