Generally an excellent comfortable stay, with friendly competent staff, in a lovely quite little town/village, surounded by stunning countryside.
The shower tray drained extremely slowly, which would have flooded the bathroom if you showered to long, but unpleasant standing in anyway.
This was reported 3 times, with one staff member saying other rooms had the same issue, this really needs sorting out rather than just giving customers platitudes.
The quality of the bread/toast served, slightly let down an otherwise excellent breakfast

We booked two rooms for our stay. Room 10 was perfect great bedroom and great bathroom. The other room was room 3. Not the best. It was clean and tidy however the mattress was uncomfortable (recommend a.new one) tiny bathroom if any one large stayed in there they wouldn't get in it! We previously stayed in room 7 which was a delightful room and a lovely bathroom which is why we booked again.
The breakfast was great and the customer service very good and all were friendly.
