The Porchester Hotel

The hotel was amazing. Clean and tidy. The room had everything we needed. I had contacted on booking the hotel to inform them that we would be arriving early as we had a matinee show booked and asked if they could store our luggage. They were very happy to facilitate this. On arrival, however, our room was already ready and we were able to check in straight away. We were very pleased with this as we had booked a night time show last minute and it would have meant not checking in until 11:30pm.

Nothing, it was all good.

I stayed on the first floor, G102, and I was tucked away so well that I barely saw any other guests. There was more than enough room for a solo traveler. I found out there were 3 other rooms on the other side of the floor. For food deliveries, I only had to step outside my door. Everything was clean, the ac worked, but I didn’t need it because the weather was perfect for my entire stay. The luggage room and the stairs to the basement rooms and to upstairs were in my side of the floor. There was a little noise during breakfast, which is understandable. I was usually running the streets during the check-in hours. All the staff were very friendly and they did pay attention to who was coming and going, which I appreciated. I brought breakfast from outside and they let me use the microwave. Loved being so close to the tube stations. The water pressure was nice and hot all the time! The room and bathroom was a good size at the hotel and everywhere else I went. Thanks, London!

The location is the best of the property…with two metro station just 5min walk.

The cleaning in the room, were not done with perfection…sometimes we saw some garbage on the carpet, that’s how we realized that maybe the carpet they were not clean

V Convenient for Paddington, competative price, clean. Bed so comfortable i slept in and missed breakfast before my morning meeting.

The best reading light in this tiny room was to leave the shower room light on, there being no alternative.
