It was my boyfriends 30th birthday and we were greeted by a very nice man and was then told they had upgraded our room. They also decorated the room and brought cake which was lovely. The staff were so lovely and couldn't do anymore for you. The location is great, lots of bars and restaurants around and easy to commute.
The breakfast. I feel its a lot of money for what it was. £25 for a full English breakfast. We also ordered room service so wanted our breakfast in bed and the breakfast was really cold.

Great location, relatively clean
The water pressure in the shower is almost zero; there are only blackout curtains in the room (no normal curtains) so during the day the whole of east London sees you through the windows including neighbouring rooms
