Restaurant was excellent (although breakfast didn't live up to what was available for lunch and dinner). Rooms very comfy and well provided.

Being on the grounds of the University of Edinburgh felt like I was staying in my own private garden. So calm, peaceful and beautiful. Excellent food. Welcoming and helpful staff. Highly recommend The Scholar.

Location was within a mile of the royal mile. Staff was great, helped us schedule an early taxi for our flight out.
