The Hanseatic City of Wismar levies a visitor’s tax/overnight stay tax of 5% on the travel price of the booked accommodation. This is not included in the travel price and will be billed separately upon booking. Since the visitor’s tax/overnight stay tax is not based on the number of people, guests of the Hanseatic City of Wismar will not be issued a visitor’s card.

Discover historic Wismar at its best—all from the comfort of your own cozy, approximately 35-square-meter vacation apartment in the rear building of an Old Town house! Experience the maritime atmosphere at the nearby Old Harbor, as our accommodations are located right in the heart of the Old Town, just a few steps from the market square and the impressive churches. The “Kupferschmiede – Alte Werkstatt” is suitable for 2 people and features bright rooms with high ceilings, as well as stylish furnishings and a wide range of amenities. From the backyard, you’ll enjoy a great view of St. George’s Church and the tower of St. Mary’s Church in the Hanseatic city of Wismar.

The numerous cafés, restaurants, and owner-operated shops in the Old Town are also just a stone’s throw away and offer you plenty of opportunities to sample regional specialties or pick up a souvenir or two.

Wismar is known for its diverse cultural offerings, including exhibitions, concerts, city tours, Brick Gothic architecture, and much more.

The vacation rental is located in the quiet rear building of the historic townhouse, along with two other vacation rentals: “Kupferschmiede-Meisterwohnung” and “Kupferschmiede-Atelier.”
