Swiss Hotel

The property is family owned and run. It is nicely decorated and spotlessly clean. It is centrally located and only a block from Rideau st and 7 minutes walk to Byward market.

Nothing. There are stairs and no elevator so keep that in mind.

The hotel was well placed, comfortable and clean. The owner was very helpful and friendly. Location was both good and bad (more on that later). Handy for Bywater Market and the government area. Outdoor seating area was nice for a drink at the end of the day. Free coffee was unlimited.

The room was a little cramped and it had no lift, so it is not suitable for anyone with mobility limitations. No facilities such as a bar or breakfast. There were quite a lot of homeless people around it - look out for what the locals call the "Fentanyl crouch". No one ever bothered us, but it was a bit uncomfortable walking to and from the hotel - this is the capital of a G7 nation and I could not help thinking they could have done better.

Location was good, easy walking distance to town and Atwater Market.

The pillows were not that comfortable.

They didn't have an elevator ,But they changed my room from the third floor to the second floor and the lady carried My quite heavy bags up for me Overall very nice people
