Nothing to complain about here. Lots of quick accurate and information communication before, during, and as I departed. Everything matched. Security downstairs friendly and knowledgeable of who we were. Balcony is the utmost setting. Great views of Sky Costanera, Movistar building and the Virgin Mary on top of the Cerro San Cristobal. Good air circulation in the cool temps of spring. So many restaurants to walk to. You hear the sounds of the big city but I use white noise when I sleep and never heard it. My friend does not and heard it at times but said it didn't bother him. I don't often return to places since there is so much new to see, but there is no doubt if I return to Santiago it'll be during a time when this unit is free to rent!

During our month long stay in Santiago, we tried 4 different apartments, in 4 different neighborhoods to get a true feeling for the city and its people. Felix´s home was our favorite. The unit itself is modern, comfortable, clean, well equipped. The view is stunning from all rooms. The terrace is large and is truly a space that you want to enjoy. But what we came to appreciate the most was the Barrio Italia neighborhood. We had the opportunity to be part of the community for a short time. It is centrally located yet still quiet and safe. We bought fresh bread every day from the nuns at the church next door, we ate at outstanding restaurants just a few steps away, the Tottus supermarket, bottle shop, mini market were around the corner. The concierges at the building were friendly, helpful and happy for us to be there. Metro stops on green and red lines were only 10 min away. We would have been happy to stay for the rest of our trip. Highly recommend this home & location!

The property itself was very nice. The balcony really makes it! Excellent location, quiet, yet near lots of services and neighborhood restaurants. The owner, Felix, gave excellent suggestions and advice, communicating very promptly. We are pretty picky about where we stay and this one was really excellent.

Felix was very responsive and helpful. It was the perfect place for our stay.. well located, easy for taxis or Uber. Good restaurants nearby. Lovely deck for morning coffee and evening drinks.

Nice helpful host
The host was very nice. Prompt on his communications. He gave us so much information about the area that was very helpful to make our stay a better experience. Thank you! A few issues...the listing says air conditioned but there is only one wall unit in the master bedroom and none in the other bedroom or other areas. The wifi did not work well. It was very intermittent and seemed to have bandwidth issues. The host tried a few times to have it repaired, which we appreciated, but it was still not working well. Everywhere else we went in the city our devices worked great on wifi but not at this unit. We often had to go across the street to a restaurant and use their wifi to get our emails or send a text! Made it inconvenient to plan tours, communicate on line, etc.
I would've picked more comfortable furniture in the living room and balcony to lounge on.
I know it was the end of November but it was warm outside, and we wished the pool had been up and running!
Overall a nice place though, secure, comfy beds, great views from the balcony, close to a nice grocery store and some restaurants and bars. And close enough to walk to other nice pubs and restaurants in Bella Vista.

Great Santiago Stay
This property totally hits the mark in terms of location, convenience, safety, and utilities. We walked all over Santiago, shopped, ate both in and out, used the dishwasher and clothes washer and were generally thrilled with the rental. Of note, if you are not city dwellers, the noise of the big city (sirens, horns, dogs etc) may disturb you, but aside from that, it was an A+ experience.

Home Away From Home!
We truly loved our stay at El Campanario! Felix is a wonderful host, and even though we didn't have the pleasure of meeting him in person, he was extremely responsive and provided us with many tips and suggestions. We enjoyed the welcome bottle of wine on the balcony! The apartment is in a safe neighborhood and the building is very secure with 24/7 security. We found the apartment to be very clean, spacious and comfortable. The apartment is fully equipped with lots of extra towels, sheets, pillows, and plenty of hot water and strong water pressure. The washer/dryer worked great and allowed us to bring less clothes. It was nice to have an air conditioner in the bedroom for the few days the temperatures warmed up. The apartment is extremely well equipped and even has electrical adapters. If you stay more than a week, Felix has a housekeeper clean weekly, which was very nice surprise and made our stay even more enjoyable!
The location couldn't be more perfect, right near the heart of Barrio Italia where you can find tons of restaurants, cafes and shops. We were equally close to the supermarket, and just a 10-minute walk to Parque Bustamante and the main bus and subway lines. The part we enjoyed the most was the balcony and amazing view overlooking the city and San Cristobal Hill. It was so nice to sit on the balcony with a glass of wine and watch the sunset. Being there for an entire month, El Campanario was truly a home away from home for us.

There were fireworks shows going on all over the city and all we had to do was sit back and watch. It was beautiful! We had one problem during our stay but Felix fixed it quickly. The kitchen door shut and the doorknob stopped working so we were locked out of the kitchen. Luckily we had just finished dinner so we didn't have an immediate need to go in. I emailed Felix and he immediately called and remedied the situation and sent a handyman out at 10:30 at night to pry open the door. What great service! You will not regret renting this condo! It's in a beautiful, safe neighborhood and close to everything. If we ever come back to Santiago again we would definitely stay here.

Clean, well-furnished and equipped apartment; brilliant location, fabulous views & very helpful host
The owner responded to all queries within a couple of hours despite a time difference of 13 hours. The description on VRBO site is accurate and, if anything, the apartment itself exceeded our expectations. Situated in a green suburb, it is close to restaurants and a metro station, (though we walked into the city centre in about 20 minutes). The 24 hour concierge ensures safety of the apartments and it was nice to meet the local people living there in the lifts and lobby.
This was our first visit to South America. We travelled for business but extended our stay to 6 nights so we could explore the city. (By day 2 we were using the metro - cheap, efficient, clean & safe). Like any city, there are picturesque zones and less aesthetic areas. We loved Bellas Artes, Barrio Italia, Lastarria and Santa Lucia and my all time favourite place is Los Domenicos. We travelled to Valparaiso, but were disappointed - right now it does not look like the many photos and is in need of some TLC to return to its former glory.
We were overwhelmed by the friendliness of the people and the music and dancing in the streets and parks; all of this gave the city a very special atmosphere. Our first impression - formed on the drive from the airport to the apartment after 15 hours of travelling- was not great; by midday the following day, we had completely revised our opinions and by the end of our stay we were all sad to leave.

Great place to stay in Santiago
This was our first trip to Santiago and we went for our nephew's wedding.
We looked at several places but kept coming back to Felix's apartment and we are glad we did. Felix is very responsive and helped us in many ways. The apartment was clean and uncluttered. We were 4 and had everything we needed. We have recommended to our nephew if he has overflow guests in town. Thanks Felix.

Great location and Everything We Needed
It was a wonderful location in Providencia. We walked or took the subway to all the things we wanted to see in the city. The apartment had everything we needed, was clean and well appointed...especially for the price. Several restaurants very close. A big Lider Express grocery store just two blocks away. Nice balcony to sit outside when it was warm enough.

Great condo right in the center of town.Lots of great restaurants near by, grocery store 5 minute walk away.Kitchen had all the needed amenities and the place was spotless.Lovely balcony on the 11th floor, super afternoon sun and amazing sunsets. Property was very secure and the neighbourhood very safe and trendy, Red line metro stop 10 minute walk away and its an awesome way to get around the City.Lots of taxis avaiilable and very reasonable fares. Marina the houseperson was very friendly and accomodating as well.Felix, the owner had all the details well organized and had numerous suggestions for things to do during our stay.That said ,the stay was amazing and we would recommend El Campanario to any visitors passing through Santiago, very enjoyable stay.

Well furnished patio with a view of Andes Mts
Loved the corner apartment view of the Andes Mts from the well furnished patio on the 11th floor. The apartment is very bright with floor to ceiling windows. We didn’t meet our host but the concierge desk was very friendly. Good taxi service and pleasant walking. We would consider staying thee again.

Best place to stay in Santiago!
Beautiful, well appointed condo with comfy beds and great towels. Has everything you need, and a wonderful view of Cerro San Cristobal! Enjoyed having breakfast and wine in the evenings on the balcony overlooking the City. The lights at night are amazing. Four blocks to metro, very safe area. Enjoyed our stay there. Felix was prompt and responsive. And the welcome bottle of wine was great! Really fabulous place to stay. Plenty of room for four adults with two full bathrooms and balcony access from both bedrooms and living room. I had no problem walking to the heart of the City and surrounding areas instead of taking the metro. Metro is safe, reliable, and crowded! Highly recommend this beautiful apartment! There is staff at entrance desk 24/7 and they are very nice.

We were delighted with our stay at El Campanario! The apartment is comfortable, clean and well maintained. We felt at home immediately. The terrace is outstanding. We often enjoyed drinks and relaxation time on the comfortable appointed terrace. The view is directly of San Cristabol Hill. To the East the Andes. The apartment is convenient to everything. Only 3 short blocks from the Metro. Many great restaurants within walking distance. Our favorite was on the corner Cocina Brava. Grocery store 3 short blocks away. Kitchen is well appointed. Beds were comfy and we slept well. Contact with Felix and Alicia were great. Secure 24 hour reception/attendant. No problems checking in or out. Highly recommend this lovely apartment for a comfortable stay in beautiful Santiago.

Great Location and Excellent Apartment
This is a nice, clean apartment in the Barrio Italiano of Providencia in greater Santiago. Besides being a nice place to stay there are
several restaurants within walking distance. The Parque Bustamente metro is close by and allows access to the rest of the city.
The views of the city are outstanding with the apartment being on the 11th floor. The owner and his sister provide excellent customer service.I would recommend this apartment to friends and family

Wonderful apartment and owner
We enjoyed a wonderful stay in this apartment. It is clean, well-appointed and the deck provides an awesome view of Santiago. The owner, Felix, promptly responded to any question we had from our initial booking until the day we left, and offered great suggestions for our visit. The many shops and restaurants are a short walk away in Barrio Italia and were a great way to end our days of skiing or visits to several wineries nearby. We highly recommend this property.

Great property, just what we wanted
We chose this property because it was close to where we planned to spend our time while in Santiago picking up our son. The condo was clean, and the description and pictures were accurate in showing off the property. We spent 13 nights and enjoyed our stay and would stay there if we are in Santiago again. Felix the owner was great to work with, and gave us some suggestions of places in Santiago we could go and visit which we appreciated. The condo was clean, and it was nice having a washer and dryer available and shopping nearby.
