Victory Beach House is excellent on all levels, from the personal meet and greet to the quality of the furnishings and comfort of the accommodation. A 10 minute easy walk to the beach and the Rio Formosa Natural park and to other dining options nearby. Situated on the ground floor with a peaceful garden outlook we enjoyed the winter sunshine. The air conditioning units provided heat for the chillier evenings.

This property was excellent. Lovely presented apartment which had everything in it you would need for a family. Miguel was very helpful with anything we needed. We will definitely return if going to Quinta Do Lago again. Location was also excellent.

Apartment was spacious and furnished/decorated to a high standard. It felt very clean and well looked after. Host was very responsive, helpful and accommodating with everything we asked for/needed. Location was ideal. Pool area was lovely, not too busy, pool bar staff were very friendly and attentive. Beautiful outlook from our terrace, overlooking a man-made lake. Parking spaces close by if you have a car. Kitchen had plenty of utensils - everything you need to cook a meal. Lots of TV choice.

Master bed was very hard to sleep on, where as the single beds in the other bedroom were softer. There was no safe which would have made me feel more comfortable leaving passports/money/jewellery when we went out. However, we had no issues, everything was secure. Air con in the bedrooms had a mind of their own, we would set them to 18C and every hour or so the temperature would creep up to 27-32C. We did report this and maintenance came out to look at it but it made no difference. Collecting keys & check in was a little rushed, we didn’t remember directions/instructions. Some printed information in the apartment would have been useful e.g. how to get to the beach, gate code for the pool, info on amenities/restaurants nearby etc. Beach towels were more like linen throws, not really suitable. Spare sheets would have been useful, particularly for those staying with children. It was quite noisy on some evenings but to be expected as we stayed in a ground floor apartment. It was a reasonable walk to the nearest shop for basics such as bottled water, milk, tea bags etc, not so easy for us with young children. Perhaps these could be provided complimentary as check in is quite late in the day.

Building activities in various apartments in the building made it necessary to leave after two nights although we would have loved to stay for 10 days

Lovely setting. The furniture was of a high standard. We appreciated the lovely patio. Everything was perfect for our stay. The lake was a few minutes walk where you can access the boardwalk that goes for miles. It was so nice to not have to drive. There are two restaurants within walking distance, three in the summer. The area has many excellent restaurants and a well equipped commercial centre.

We could have done with cleaning supplies as there was nothing to clean kitchen work surfaces or the casserole dish.

Good location

The apartment is first class from location through to decor. Miguel has done a brilliant job on making it a real home from home experience. Its located 5 mins walk from 'The Shack'.

This is such beautiful accommodation. The interior is really nice and everything was so clean. It caters for everything. You can easily cook there if you want either. Miguel was so nice to deal with. I would highly recommend.
