Nice, friendly staff and excellent value for money.
Nice location and a nearby eatery
There was a water leak, which was promptly dealt with, and I was offered a different room. Well done to the staff

Great location right on the beach, and a very peaceful spot. Nice to relax on the seats in the yard and read a book. Close walking distance to food shops.
Didn't realise you aren't allowed to park on the grounds, until I got my room key and read the information page left inside the room. I was on my way back to move my car within 5 minutes of arriving when someone (long-term stayer, maybe manager?) approached me asking if it was my car so that I could move it. Would be better if this was made clear prior to arrival to prevent this assumption, given it states there is parking available on site. I also found it much more difficult to get a public parking spot nearby during the weekend. At times it felt like I was being watched too much when simply walking around the common areas of house - had the same long-term stayer follow me through the house when they heard me walking upstairs. They popped their head outside to look into the train room where I was staying, when I briefly went back to my room while waiting for the jug to boil in the house. It felt like staying with parents who were keeping a close eye on you.

Couldn't sleep at all.
I regret I should have visited there with my campervan.

Nice traditional style house, central to Plimmerton

A gorgeous historic building right beside the beach in Plimmerton. The place is nicely decorated and has a homely feel. Cooking facilities are good, but being right in the heart of the village, good eating options are also only a quick walk away.
Brony was so accommodating in meeting my accommodation needs. I stayed upstairs and downstairs and both were fine.
Residents were all friendly and helpful.
All in all a great place to stay at an affordable price!
I was concerned about the shared bathroom at first but it was fine.

great location, funky furnishings.
My room key did not work properly, I did not feel comfortable leaving my things in the room if I left. The exterior doors of the property were. not locked when I was there. Upon trying to communicate with the property owner I was only insulted. I had originally recommended this rental to friends as a place with a great location. My friends inquiry as to availability was never answered, while my request for help with the door/key malfunction was never addressed. My request for a partial refund was denied, with a personal insult and unprofessional launguage. After having paid for two nights lodging and never staying there, I thought that a refund of one night's unused room stay was reasonable. I did my best to try to get the key to lock the room, but could not do so. I have never been insulted by any property manager; this is a new experience.

Building with its history and rusty appeal held a lot of charm. Beautiful location opening up to the beach
Room was tidy with a comfortable bed
There was confusion during the week whether I had a room or not - on the prior Thursday it was confirmed I did have a room although not the original. This instruction obviously did not make it to the staff causing a stressful situation. I was greeted at the door with rudeness, shuffled off to my room and not shown any of the facilities. I felt unwelcome and decided not to stay the second night. When reached out to Browyn via text did not receive a reply; ended up overpaying for a poor nights accommodation in a nice building at a nice spot.

great room and comfy beds
room upstairs with toilet downstairs… hard work for older folk in the middle of the night

Parking . Nice common areas.
Just before staying owner sent me an update on what the room was really like that did not match how it was described in the listing.
I was sent a message that if they would not be there at my arrival time they would send a message where the key would be. I got there at the time I had given them. Hard to work out where entrance was. In the end other guests helped me out. Would have been simple if message had been sent to me where key was!

Very comfortable and the people are so nice and accomodating! I was only there one night, but it would be an ideal place to stay for a few days!
Everything was great, but it is worth noting that there is only one main bathroom, so you need to get in there early

The property is opposite the train station with private access to the beach. Close to the local shops and cafes.
Not that I could think of
