Excellent selection and the service was great. Nice view from glass pavilion. Mimosas while waiting to be seated. Great job all around. The staff friendliness couldn't be better.

The vitality pool (jacuzzi) is semi-heated - much better than being cold of course... could have been warmer, but the wet and dry sauna were worth using for sure.

Location was continent for me

Room was very dated, only two plugs in the room for charging devices, kettle etc. Breakfast service was terrible every morning. Chipped cups and tea pots, staff forgot to place breakfast orders and we spent 25 min waiting for our order, which made me late. Ordered room service dinners, which were so disappointing. Food a major let down and this was at 19:30, so not like it was after hours. In my opinion, they don’t deserve 5 star rating.

Location and breakfast were very good. Staff were pleasant and well meaning if not entirely efficient. The spa was lovely and we very much appreciated being in the same building as it, as we simply had to catch a lift outside our room directly down to the spa. The building itself was remarkably beautiful inside and out.

Lack of heating. We froze the first night. When I mentioned this to them the next day they sent a technician in our absence but it was still very cold when we returned at the end of the day. I suggested they provide an additional floor heater which took some time to eventuate but heated our room nicely, so we were comfortable the 2nd night. We requested a room with a bath which they acknowledged at check in but when we returned some hours later when our room was prepared it had no bath. It took a little time but the situation was remedied. The reason being that the thoughtful front desk person had bumped us up to a slightly larger room, only without a bath, so kudos for the attempt.

Fantastic stay. Warm and welcoming hotel. Staff all courteous with a smile. The hotel was a mix of modern and traditional. Breakfast superb. We stayed last year which the staff at reception acknowledged which was nice. Fab location, exit hotel left 5 min walk to Buckingham Palace, exit right 10 min walk to Big Ben hotel. It was such a relaxing stay , thank you!

Excellent stay, provided an upgrade which was a welcome surprise and absolutely appreciated Rooms and facilities were extremely well maintained to a good standard and comfortable. The team and staff were exceptional in terms of service: courteous and very welcoming and made every effort to ensure we were comfortable. Breakfast was lovely too.

L’hôtel est idéalement situé : proche de la gare Victoria et proche de tous les endroits touristiques de Londres ce qui permet de tout rejoindre à pieds. Le calme est également un point fort, au vue de la proximité c’est un vrai confort de pouvoir dormir paisiblement. Lors de ma réservation j’ai précisé que nous nous rendions à Londres avec mon copain pour son anniversaire et que je souhaitais savoir ce qui était possible de faire pour marquer l’événement, j’ai reçu une longue liste de propositions mais j’ai oublié de donner suite, mais nous avons eu la surprise à notre arrivée d’avoir une part de gâteau (délicieux) pour l’occasion. La période de Noël est un petit plus qui a rendu notre séjour encore plus beau ! L’hôtel était joliment décoré ! Merci à eux d’avoir été aussi attentionné ! Je recommande à 1000%.

I have stayed at Taj hotels all over India and stayed here before hence rebooking. The hotel is very clean and provides an excellent choice of Indian breakfasts.

This stay was poor. There seemed to be a problem with my booking and after some delay I was told they were upgrading me to a Junior suite. Sounded good news but neither television in the suite worked and the toilet cistern was leaking. Maintenance arrived the moment I got to the suite so the hotel knew there was a problem with the tV’s. Maintenance couldn’t fix the problem and said he’d report it to the Duty Manager and they would probably move me. However I didn’t have time to wait asI had a work event which ran all evening and a conference starting the next day at 8.15am. I do not expect this quality of hotel to allocate rooms that are faulty and was very disappointed

Chaotic breakfast service due to poor management being overwhelmed by numbers, which should have been anticipated: had to wait 20 minutes to be seated, loud noisy room, uncomfortable seating/table, had to ask for cutlery, had to ask three times for coffee which eventually arrived when we’d finished. Unacceptable organisation for a 5 star hotel.

Miserable Wi-fi speed, even low resolution YouTube would run intermittently, and TV would get hung! Wouldn’t even power off. The speed would get better between 2 and 5 am The only fix they said was to change the room! Breakfast area seems to have very limited seating, At 9am, people have to stand in a queue. Air conditioning controls suck, won’t go below 19 degrees. Very uncomfortable sleep, start sweating after half an hour.
