The location surpassed our intended plans. We needed to be able to walk to certain stores to complete the purpose of our trip. We hoped it would be as good as planned but realised it was even better than we thought. The room was spacious, clean and well appointed. The unit exceeded our expectations, providing an experience we didn't expect - very comfortable providing us room to relax and recharge after long days out. The air-conditioning was excellent, kitchen well appointed, bedroom spacious and welcoming. Everything we needed to enjoy our stay exceeded our expectations. Finally, we received excellent customer service. Very flexible, generous and professional. We were blown away when provided additional time at the property to fit in with our departure travel arrangements.

We didn’t like our neighbours slamming doors yelling early in the morning no consideration

The location was the outstanding point. We could easily walk down to the Marina to catch trips, food outlets, shops. Also it is just across the road from Cairns Central Plaza (shops, banks, eateries, and supermarkets). As there was a full kitchen in the apartment we shopped and cooked some of our meals. There was also a washing machine and dryer which is why I chose this apartment. Good water pressure for showers. Swimming pool and BBQ facilities. Safe parking.

It’s a little tired - which is ok but simple things could make a better first impression. The only bowl for salads etc had a crack in it (we didn’t use it). The frying pans Teflon is past its use by (we bought ourselves a new pan to use). The hot tap had a back leak which meant our toilet bags, if left on the bench by the sink, got wet. And just in general some small touch ups would smarten it up eg paint on the bathroom door and skirt (where there has been obvious water damage).
