Service: There was an event happening during our stay, and the staff were so busy serving other guests that they were unable to answer phone calls. I had to wait and visit the reception in person to get assistance, which was inconvenient. Breakfast: The breakfast was quite disappointing. The same options were served every day, with very little variety or choice of other cuisines. Some more variety and creativity in the breakfast menu would definitely improve the experience. Above all they are quite proactive to charge extra even when I opted for breakfast inclusive packages. They charged extra for morning coffee in breakfast. Really dissatisfied

Nice hotel with palm trees in the centre of the hotel. Parking was easy, staff were helpful and excellent and room very comfortable. We had a room on the water and the view in the morning was a lovely way to start the day. worth the upgrade if you can afford it. Plenty of nice food in the included breakfast. Hotel is a short walk to the night markets and Esplanade.

It was pretty good all up. They had a pipe burst over part of the breakfast area a few days before we got there, so only half the restaurant was available which made it quite busy, but they were managing and people were being patient. These things happen

Everything else fell short of expectations and felt like a major letdown. While the entrance/reception area gives a good first impression, interacting with the staff felt cold and mechanical, with minimal genuine interest in guests. Once you look closer, the room and facility upkeep are disappointing, despite looking renovated, the bathrooms had noticeable mould and rust around the edges and ceiling, and we even spotted insects outside the room in our level floor. Checkout was disorganized, with staff failing to notice we still had our keys until we brought them back, and no feedback on the deposit at the checking out. To top it off, the breakfast was another disappointment while it looked like there were plenty of options, the actual food quality was poor, and the manager seemed lost and unorganized. A great location can only save a stay so much when the cleanliness, service, and overall quality fall this flat.
