Staff are absolutely lovely - very accommodating when I went on an overnight to Doubtful Sound - stored my luggage & packed me the most amazing take away breakfast/brunch. Lots of thoughtful extras - under floor heating, slippers & comfy robes. Breakfast is great - delicious continental & cooked breakfast as well as cakes made on the premises. The wine tasting evening was lovely - delish nibbles & wine & opportunity to meet other travellers. Would absolutely stay again - highly recommended!

Location was fantastic, easy walk into town, hill on the way back. friendly staff. Room was amazing, fireplace, view, spacious. Breakfast was great. We had no trouble parking.
The water pressure in the shower was the only thing we could fault.

Cute rooms and I loved how we felt 'alone', tucked off in the back.
Laura is a beautiful soul, really friendly.
The eat in breakfast was really good, although the tea is way way way too weak.
Not your fault but we were without lights for the majority of the trip. The one thing that should've been fixed there is communication about it. I had to keep asking about progress. At one point, they said it would be sorted Monday, but I had to message on Wednesday to find out what was going on. I don't blame them for the delay, but being informed of the delay was something that should've happened.
The take away breakfast was mediocre. Particularly on the weekend, the bread was stale and dry.
