We had a great stay here. The pools and beach beds were perfect and we chilled out there. We ate in the Himalayan restaurant on culture night which was good food. Great location to walk to Bali collection for food and shops. Good breakfasts.

Too touristy. The pool was way too warm, too crowded by the pool bar.

Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing from the very beginning. We found the outside of the toilet dirty, with what appeared to be fecal stains left by the previous guest. This was extremely unpleasant and unacceptable. I have photos and would be happy to send them directly to the hotel if required. When I spoke to the hotel, I simply asked whether it would be possible to shorten our stay. This was not only because of the cleanliness issue, but also because the room was not ready at the promised time. After waiting for someone to bring our luggage, we eventually had to carry it ourselves. This did not give us a good first impression. The staff were friendly, but in our opinion they need more training, particularly regarding service. On three separate occasions, my drink order was forgotten. What concerned us most was the amount of plastic on the beach. I understand that much of it is brought in by the sea and that a team is trying to clean the beach. However, we personally saw staff digging holes in the sand, putting the rubbish inside and covering it again. When the tide rises, it can uncover the waste and carry it on to the next beach. This is not a real solution and was extremely disappointing to witness. I am sharing only what we personally saw and experienced during our stay. This review is not intended to be confrontational, but guests should be able to give honest and factual feedback without having their experience dismissed.
