Derby Manor

The Breakfast was very good,

The main problem we had was the bedroom lovely decoration but the bathroom was very small the hand basin was much to high obviously they to put higher so as you could use the toilet otherwise you wouldn’t be able to stand up one other issue was the cleaning wasn’t done on one day when we spoke to the reception she looked in book and cleaner put do not disturb totally untrue we didn’t even see a sign that said that the issue was the wardrobe very very small for 2 people only 3 hangers

Lovely experience. Good breakfast, lovely grounds and good location :)

Nice location and friendly staff.

Bathroom could be updated And breakfast was limited given timing.

good parking. staff were polite ( but no one on site after 10 pm).

I thought it would be more like a hotel for the price paid. to be able to have a drink in the bar after 10pm or to sit in the lounge. instead had to remain in room as this was only option. little details like the toiletries were poor quality, not as alluded to in photos when booking, chocs on pillow were a nice touch but not replaced for second night. Fire alarm early on first morning ruined any chance of a lay in, obviously no fire. room was dated, i would say decorated about 10 years ago. cracked floor tile on bathroom and some mould on the ceiling. wardrobe had internal peeling paint and the safe didnt work.
