There was a big party in front of the house. It was in a chapel which is 20 meters from the house. There was a lot of noise and some people were ringing on doorbell during the night.

The location is great, you have several different options for restaurants, bars and coffee shops just a few blocks away. You're at a walkable distance from different tourist spots and have a shopping mall within reach. The apartment is quite spacious and minimalistic. There are apartments that have a view to the canal. The bed and sofa-bed were comfortable. You get lots of light from different angles.

It is noisy. It is located in a popular area for people to go out and drink and party until 4:00 AM. You will hear everything, so if you're not out there joining them, then you're gonna have a bad time trying to sleep. The inner walls are thin, so if someone barely touches the stairs rail, the sound will bang around the building. The noise levels go up at around 23:00. The shower temperature controls are the worst. The handle is inverted and handles both temperature and flow. It is incredibly sensitive and is hard to set in the right place as you need to have millimetric precision. We got serious burns before learning how dangerous it was. Please be aware of this if you're staying there with small children and do not let them handle the shower themselves, this shower can cause serious permanent damage. The place is located right above a couple of restaurants and the smell of fish and other meals is intense. There is no way to stop it from entering the apartment. If you use the extractor fan in the kitchen, things will get worse on that aspect. There are a couple of annoying water leaks: the boiler drips into the metallic kitchen counter, and the toilet will leak every time you flush it. The WiFi is bad. Don't expect to be doing work video calls easily there. Stick to audio only while nobody else is streaming on another device. If you arrive after 17:00 and your access code doesn't work, you should call them. We had to book a night at a different place for the first night because it was impossible to get in touch with support through virtual channels.

The location was ideal. I don’t have anything else positive to say about this place. The host was responsive when I couldn’t find the entrance hidden behind a massive church celebration - would have been nice to let me know that was going on.

The flat was bare bones - only two coffee pods for three people for five days? That’s pretty disappointing. The bathroom plumbing busted on the first night and although they did come to fix it the next day, they failed to properly clean the sewage mess underneath and the place smelled bad the whole stay. The towels had brown stains on them, which was kinda gross too. No place to hang any towels/coats/anything.

Perfect location next to the canal in front of the Mercado do Peixe. Walk to everything. Lovely canal views from the open plan living area. Modern double-paned windows plus air conditioning ensured quiet inside the flat even when the restaurants below were full of customers in the evening. Clean, modern kitchen and bathrooms. Comfortable beds.

Both shower diverters need to be fixed. Only the handheld works, not the overhead. Loose floor drain cover in front of the hob is a trip hazard when cooking.

Water was leaking from shower and kitchen. Bed sheets not very soft. No decoration and hanging tools for coats and towels - lacking of ambiance lights in bedroom and living room

Ar conditioning not working. One of the blackout window was not working in one bedroom.
