Car park was valet only ($49 per night). would be nice if it had free parking…

excellent location
Air Con extremely noisy, so was the plumbing system: the walls were not sound-proof. I could hear people around having baths or showers late at night or at 5am. The bathroom was clean and quite big but small bathtub and the plug would not close tightly, letting the water escape. The lighting system should be reviewed : room and bathroom very poorly lit.

Historisches Hotel, altehrwürdig und trotzdem sehr sauber. Stilvolle Bar und Pool- Frühstücksbereich.
Zimmer mit 2x Queensize Betten relativ eng. Zimmer (Bad mittig) ungünstig geschnitten. Keine kostenlosen Parkmöglichkeiten!

Very comfortable seating for Jessica lounge around. Color scheme was really nice. Perfect access to Crypto.com Arena.
I did not like the $30 fee we had to pay for water, Wi-Fi etc. outrageous. As it was the rooms were gone really expensive because of two events happening that weekend $299 per night plus a $30 facilities fee, which we did not use because we didn’t check in till 11 PM at night after the concert since we could not get early check-in, even though I asked six months ago and check out by 12 noon For brunch there’s no bloody Mary mix at the bar. I won’t stay there again. since we could not get early check-in, even though I asked six months ago when I reserved a room. I don’t like that. The bathrooms has a gap so if you cannot use the toilet comfortably.

My broken Air conditioner in the room.

The staff was amazing especially Ron I didn't get his last name but he was super helpful and kind! The location was perfect for the event I was going to and the food was awesome I've never had a hotel with such amazing food.
The only thing I can think of would be the elevators. With only the two of them it was really slow at times.

How beautiful the establishment cozy and welcoming
Los Angeles is doing there best in cleaning the homeless and graffiti the facility is safe and clean it’s just the feeling when you walk around and seeing smoking weed, being rude to the tourist

The checking and door service staff were lovely and highly professional, especially (Reggie? sorry we missed his name)? Gentlemen from New Orleans who helped us with our bags on checkin and brought a lovely welcome platter to our room. Room was lovely. Have stayed here a number of times and always been great. Staff were highly accommodating for any requests we had.
Hotel staff were protesting outside our window and woke us every morning at 7am which did start everyday off in an undesirable way. Bar staff are inexperienced (the ones we dealt with) unsure how to make basic drinks and asking each other for recipes, might have had the most expensive and worst tasting mojito of my life. As an impartial suggestion I felt $50 usd per day plus the expectation of tips at each pick up and drop off of our car was a bit steep. Parking txt system didn't work so we had to wait for the car every time we needed it.

Beautiful classy decor and lovely staff. Food very good.
Pool closing too early. 7pm. Why can’t there be later swimming allowed? Very expensive.

Great hotel. There's a very nice restaraunt and cafe/bar downstairs with legitimately good food, and they don't badger you about sitting and working on your laptop. I got a free room upgrade (this probably influences my perception of the value of this hotel, admittedly) into a great suite. In a very unwieldly city for transit, you can get pretty much anywhere from this hotel without ridiculous travel times.
Once, based on the tables that were available in the dining area, I had to eat at a table that really wasn't made for dinner (it was like a coffee table).

Location.
Helpful staff.
Cleanness.
For a 5-star Hotel, it is very disappointing. Inside my room, everything was exactly like in a 3-star hotel:
1-Only 2 table lamps to light the room. You have to take your clothes to the bathroom to see the color.
2-Low-power water flow for shower and sink.
3-Cheap paper cups for the coffee maker; they leak out in 3 minutes.
4-Wardrobe with NO shelves; you can only hang. In a 5-star hotel, you do not expect to live out of your suitcase.
5-Very small “Queen room”. Nowhere to put your suitcase; so bring only one.
6-Very old electric curtain system that needs a hand to put up or put down.
7-The so-called “Destination Fee” of 35$ PER DAY they take when you arrive . It is mentioned on booking, but the explanation is ridiculous: To allow you to use the gym, the pool, and the coffee/coffee maker, all of which are free in 4 and 5-star hotels. It allows you also to ask for 2 coffees/latte/cappuccino of your choice per day. However, this is not really it: You can just serve yourself from a big american coffee jar, milk, and sugar. Anyway, the destination fee is not optional, so they’d better add it to the cost.
8-They take 150$ from the credit card as a guarantee, even if you pay upfront your stay. They show you that they totally trust you in this “5-star hotel”.
You don’t really “feel welcomed” and “comfortable”; but they are professional and efficient.

They allowed me to check in early, which was very helpful. They also made it possible to have a fridge in my room to store medication. The location is very convenient.

too noisy one night. the walls are too thin and people were partying next door until 2,30 AM..

I loved the size of the room and the bed was incredibly comfortable. the washroom was also fantastic - huge mirror and excellent shower. the magnolia bar is such a great space to both work during the day and meet friends, and all the food and drinks were fantastic! the hotel is also beautiful - a really lovely space overall.
staff at the restaurants are slow so you may be waiting a while before you can flag someone down. i was never told automatically that it was happy hour, although I was always given a happy hour menu when asked. it would have been nice if the lights on the bedside tables were dimmable! as my windows all looked into other rooms as opposed to having a view, it would have maybe been nice to have a privacy screen that still let the light in when the shade was down.
