Bloc Hotel London Gatwick Airport

Great hotel central to Gatwick perfect for morning flights

The location is exceptional...directly outside departures and you could not want it any closer! The reception staff were also exceptional - we arrived to an ICT issue with online booking and the staff were polite and professional and gave us a 20% off offer for drinks/food at local restaurants until sorted. We then got a call 5 minutes later to say all sorted and we could check in. Well done Bloc Hotel reception staff! The room had everything you could possibly need for an overnight staff with an early flight. Bed was very comfortable and shower room was very clean.

Well, the only thing that let the room down was the temperature. You could not change it, no matter how you tried. It was very hot and not pleasant to sleep at such a high temperature. We fell asleep eventually, but that was due to pure exhaustion. I realise this is not going to affect everyone - some people like to be at that temperature, but for those who do not, this is just a polite warning.

Easy to check-in and close to the security
