Clean modern room with a tinge of history/culture

Well i just didn't like to part with my money...

The beddings were so so comfortable.

1. I was not really happy that the staffing were mostly foreigners. Its a Malaysian antique hotel . I was hoping for a more Malaysian experience. Most of the staffs were either Bangladeshi/ Filipinos. So certain questions asked were not fulfilled, due to lack of knowledge. The dining staffs were mostly Bangladeshis. Sigh. 2. CHECK IN IS MISERABLE. !! For a 5 star hotel, you would expect a more easygoing experience. However it took us 1 hour !! There were 4 people at the front-desk. But nearly 10-15 mins per client. Please speed up your check in process. I had an infant with me. So that was really uncomfortable. 3. I stayed in the 12th floor all the way to the end. And the ceiling at the corridor was leaking. (I didn’t take any pics) 4. Below par facilities. Esp the swimming pool… 5. Spa was located in a different building which didn’t have internal access.So you had to use an umbrella if it was raining. How ignorant is the design ? At least have a shaded walkway if you don’t want to touch the Majestic Wing building.

The entire hotel including rooms, lobby, tea room and restaurants are kept too cold. I was not able to register my Marriot loyalty program for the points as the front desk indicated that since i booked through booking.com

Beautiful 1930’s traditional feel. Very large rooms, luxury feel, nice decor, piano bar and Afternoon Tea was lovely.

Whilst very large and beautifully decorated, the rooms are tired. Stains on carpet, poor grouting in bathrooms, stains on sofas.Pool area is really poor and not clean. Nowhere to have food or drinks by the pool. Also, a 35- 40 minute walk into the city centre.

The majestic is a beautiful colonial era hotel with lovely architecture and decor. It immediately makes you feel you’ve stepped back in time. There’s a good selection for breakfast both European and Asian choices. The hotel is very close to the main station making it very convenient for central KL. The hotel also offers a free mini bus service to the station

The bedroom was lovely but the bed was too hard to be comfortable

Its an excellent facility, very conveniently located from KL Sentral station. The room was spacious and very immaculate. The swimming pool, gym were very good.

The vegetarian food options were very limited. Further, the Contango restaurant was closed for renovation, restricting the options available.

Bathtub is big size, comfortable

For a five-star hotel, at this price, there are too few choices for breakfast.

Rooms are large and comfortable. Great view of the train station and Merdeka tower. Bath tub is great.

No free parking for guests which is ridiculous. Only one bathrobe available in the room, also ridiculous. No privacy between the shower and toilet. The amenities are not 5 star at all, in fact it is the same products they use at Vistana. Bedsheets had black stains on them. They only gave two pods of coffee, anything extra was chargeable. Swimming pool was underwhelming, there's not much going on in this hotel. This feels like a Boutique hotel not a 5 star.

Everything was good and the place is super classy and elegant

They should have more in room dining menu as the current one they don't offer much verities of food in their in room dining menu

There are shuttle services between the hotel to KL Sentral. Breakfast was very good with too many varieties and choices. Room is big. Staff are very attentive and polite.

This is a beautiful hotel, the decor and ambience is straight out of the 1930s. The staff went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Our room was very comfortable. Breakfast was amazing!

The hospitality was perfect. Very good buffet breakfast. All staff especially Ms Aznita Zaidi were very welcoming and helpful.

Staff are very welcoming and helpful with our inquires. Breakfast was really good with a wide range of dishes to choose from. There are lots it different restaurants within the hotel and the food was good (bit pricey but expected). 2 outdoor pools which were clean and well maintained (not the best views).

As it’s right next to a main road it is difficult to walk around to different places. The train station is across the road which is great otherwise you can get taxis to your different destinations.

Restaurant at Lvl 1 - The overall ambience of the interior is old and dark.

The view from our level 15 room was great. Our bed was enormous and so comfortable! We appreciated the coffee machine for a quick early morning espresso. The hotel is right across the road from the historic railway station, from which we had an early departure. It's also an easy 20 minute walk to Central Market and Petaling Street restaurants. The Botanical Gardens, Islamic Art Museum and other attractions are even closer.

Check-in procedure needed some streamlining! We had to wait well over 2 hours before we had room access despite booking several weeks in advance. Our luggage was mislaid between reception and the room and was not labelled for easy location. As genius level 3 guests a breakfast was included and this was clearly indicated at the time of booking, yet the hotel staff had no record of this. We had an early departure so negotiating over an included breakfast was not a good way to wrap up our stay.

Booked the junior suite. Room was spacious and befitting of the hotel name.

Something terribly wrong with their call centre. Whenever we called to request or ask for something, the message is not relayed and we have to call multiple times to check and even go down to the main desk. Waited 2 hours for our luggage to be sent to our room just upon check in on the first day, and the call centre had to ask us where we left our luggage when we called for the third time. They also forgot to make our room when we requested to do so on the 2nd day. I called the concierge just before leaving the room for the day at 3pm. The staff acknowledged and assured that the room will be cleaned. Returned back at 11pm hoping to rest after a long day to find the room in the exact state we left it in. Photo attached is when we came back at 11pm — my wife and 2 month old daughter had to sit at the lobby while waiting for the room to be made. They did offer a complimentary breakfast the next day.
