Needs a little TLC

The location was amazing. Right across the street from Marketplace with grocery store, liquor store, coffee shops, and easy walking distance to the lifts. Also right across the street from the bus stop for the free shuttle bus to the lifts

Where do I begin? We were greeted by a front hall closet door that was near impossible to open as it was stuck on the tracking and when my husband finally managed to get it to open, it was FULL of boxes, an AC unit, a boiler, and other stuff so it was completely unusable for us to keep our ski jackets and gear, or anything for that matter. The 2nd bathroom toilet’s handle was broken right off the toilet and sitting atop the bathroom counter upon our arrival. Within minutes of seeing that, I texted the property manager. I got a prompt reply and assurance it would be addressed. Despite this though, my husband and I spent the next 2 days before we heard back, having to remove the top of the toilet tank to stick our hand in the water to pull the chain to flush it cuz sure as heck our kids weren’t going to do that. The reply from property manager was that his handyman wasn’t comfortable coming into the unit to fix it. I asked if that was because of covid. He never did answer my question. 2 days later again, he said he thought he had someone who might be able to come in. We were checking out 2 days thereafter so I said to just forget it because we’d already dealt with it for 5 days by then. The place was not well cleaned AT ALL. A small mountain of crumbs lived under every counter top kitchen appliance. Semi-clean or outright dirty dishes/pans were in the cupboards. There was more black than white coloured grout in both of the showers, the master was worse than the second bathroom but not by much. The unit is clearly not maintained. After our first shower in the master bath, I turned the bathroom fan on and nothing, no sound. I looked up and where there should have been a fan was nothing but a hole in the ceiling, an empty hole. Where there once was a smoke detector on the main living floor ceiling was nothing but stray wires hanging out of it. On day 2 of 7, I sent photos to the property mgr who said he’d discuss partial refund with the owner.

Great location, nice patios, barbecue, 2 bathrooms, kitchen well outfitted

Bathrooms could have been cleaner, noisy neighbors off and on
