The location was good

The who cabin was very dirty and lots of repairs needed. There was a build up of about an inch wide of dirt all around the wall edges.

cigarette butts around the hot tub and the water was nasty and cloudy. trash was in the yard. rails on the stairway was loose which 3 rails on top was loose and then 8 rails from the main floor to the basement wasn’t even connected. I contacted the housekeeping manager and she said she would have maintenance come out while we was there to fix it along with the loose spindles on the loft on the 3rd floor. nothing was ever fixed at that point and I had to restrict my children from going upstairs in fear they would fall through the railings. floors was not mopped and had sticky residue on the floor. pool table only had 1 stick and no chalk… you could tell the cabin hadn’t been dusted in a while. dust was clustered around the vents and there wasn’t any ventilation fans in the bathrooms on the 1st floor and 3rd floor. electric problems in the living room as in the switch that controlled the ceiling fan also SHUT THE TV OFF. not to mention the ceiling fan in the living room had the chain pulled off to where we couldn’t even use the lights on the ceiling fan so we had to use all the lamps. furniture on the balcony off the kitchen was damaged to where you couldn’t sit in them. as well as a couple of chairs in the kitchen around the table felt loose as could be as if you was going to sit on the chair and it break. overall the cabin is beautiful but the cleanliness was not up to par. I had to wash all the dishes prior to using and sweep and vacuum before my family even had a chance to get into the cabin. sheets was oversized and overly used with stretch marks in the fabrics so we got our own blankets.

When we arrived we were greeted with a very run down, in need of some work cabin. The bear statue was on the ground. There were screens ripped around the hot tub. The walkway into the cabin had lighting on the ground that was missing or broken. At least 50 percent of the lights did not work inside the cabin. There were multiple safety hazards concerning railings in the loft and the stairway. It had a very musty, not good smell. There are rules and cleaning you are required to do before leaving. However, you have to clean when you arrive to make it acceptable to stay in. The vacuum was full and needed to be emptied before we could use it. Just very sad, especially for the amount of money we paid to stay.

Many things at this cabin need attention. Honestly feel like we should be given some money back for the amount of money paid for this cabin with the issues we experienced. Upon first arrival things was decent but the driveway is rough with a big hole in the middle of it. The dishes was dirty and not washed. They used duct tape to try and tape the stair case railings from coming out. The ceiling fan downstairs is so loose we was frightened it was gonna fly off, they actually had toilet paper tucked into the space around to try and secure it. We had no service nor Wi-Fi for two days. There is a short in the living room lights and tv. The hot tub was overfilled upon arrival and it seems slanted on the deck. The screens are missing and there was cigarette butts everywhere that hadn’t been cleaned up. The sliding doors in the shower on the main floor are about to fall off they are not on track. We barely had any towels in the cabin. The property just wasn’t as expected with the price we paid. We also tried several times to get in touch with the point of contact who informed us she was just the “housekeeper”. Very disappointed with our stay.

the tvs didn’t work in living room, and both downstairs tvs, second floor porch light didn’t work.

The fireplace in the main living room didn't work. I emailed Chasity (our contact person) and never got a response. The kitchen stove was in bad shape so we didn't use it.

Not clean! Jacuzzi water was gray and trash gathered in corner behind Jacuzzi. Bugs in bathrooms. Dishes were dirty. Trash (candy, disposable silverware) in couch cushions and floor near couch). Sticky drink ring on coffee table Toaster didn't work. Tv didn't work. couch footrest broken, chair fabric torn + hole, pool table pockets clogged with something.

Beautiful locations. Saw bears...one momma with her 2 cubs and 2 others. Quiet place. Beds were comfortable. Once we cleaned it, we very much enjoyed everything. We had everything we needed to cook dinner and the grill was great to have. We cleaned out the hot tub and enjoyed that every night. A bear broke into one of our vehicles and ate 2 boxed of granola bars. The house keeper was easy to get ahold of and when we needed to find someplace for our 2nd child to sleep (since we had to make a bed for him someplace) she brought them to us without us even asking for them. Her name was Chastity.

Bathrooms had to be cleaned. Mold in all the edges of showers. Dishes were dirty, floors were not swept. Looked as though the dirt was swept under the furniture and rugs. We found party blowers and confetti under everything. Fan above basement bed is unsafe and broken, fan in king bedroom doesn't work. Upstairs fireplace broken. A couch seat was soaking wet when we got there. It was cleaned with bleach but not finished. It turned the corner yellow. The reservation said we had a twin with trundle, and there was not one. So we didn't have a place for our 2nd child to sleep. Hot Tub was filthy and we found a lighter in it. Light bulbs were missing from many lights even though they were plugged in. Staples sticking out of furniture. Very sharp. Basement bar sink the cold water is completely detached from hook up. Small maintenance repairs need to be done thru out. we fixed the large clock in the living. That is working good now.

Everything was great about this cabin! Definitely will be going back!
